We are just a really bad team. Today really highlighted just how vital a sweeper keeper type keeper is to our system.

Don’t even blame Trafford but the build up was shocking . He is being asked to do something the clearly can’t do.

Haaland again doesn’t score a sitter and fails to pass 5 yards for a tap in. Need more from supposedly the best striker in the world.

Some of that was on par with the worst of last year. Still relying on Doke and Bernardo, still struggling to create, midfield getting burnt on the counter and still the same defensive errors.

We haven’t replaced our elite players with other elite players. We have dropped the ball and it’s going to be very difficult to recover.

Bernardo came on and put in a generational shocking performance even after last season. The new players were anonymous. Reijnders seems a meh player, after all McTominay was player of the season at Serie A. Nico Gonzalez is just clueless and a huge mistake. Marmoush can’t keep a ball. Cherki wasn’t even on the pitch. We NEEDED a rebuild and ended with a half arsed attempt and kept most of horrendously shit players. Rico Lewis showed why his level is Wolves.

Terrible.
We’re a mess. Can’t play out from the back, no coherence in our play through midfield, can’t keep the ball for shit. Our attacking strategy is largely give it to one of the wide men and hope they can do something.
Defensive set up is a nonsense. All of our success under Pep has been based around having a pretty solid ‘back five’, with one of the defenders going into midfield with Fernandinho/Rodri. Now we basically defend with two - and wonder why we’re constantly shelling shit goals.

Oh well, here's to the odd trophy every 3 or 4 years, because this lot simply have not got the killer instinct to turn defeats into victories, control each game from the off and dominate from season start to finish.

Wingers useless we used to have game changers now we have nice dribble and nice stepovers instead of goals and assists.

Too many project players in the team. Lewis is a squad player shouldn’t be our starting right back against the bigger teams.

Defence is a one man defence without Rodri it’s open and hopeless , we were worse than relegation teams last season in conceding transitions and nothing has changed. We rely on Rodri without him it’s open season.

Go get Donnarumma and Rodrygo two proven players at the highest level and one a treble winning goal keeper who’s only 26.

Serious lack of fitness and desire. This looks worse than last season, last week I thought we were lucky rather than good. Lots of cracks on display today and Trafford will get most of blame but looks like we signed a shot stopper that doesn’t have the ability to play with his feet. Replacing Eddie if we do can’t be with a kid.
