Hopefully it's not too big of an injury. Looked like a sprain after that Spurs player (Kudus?) kicked his foot.

Not sure how reliable this source is, but three weeks could see him back for the derby.

It was only a bend of the ankle due to the force of the ball he blocked being against the end of his foot, I’ve done it loads of times. Fucking painful and some swelling, but I assume we are just saying he wouldn’t be ready for Brighton so no issues after the break.

Yep, done myself back in the day, it feels a little numb until you take your boot off, then it's painful and then burns and feels so hot, but the best thing is not to rest it ? just keep moving and putting pressure on the foot

Good physio treatment they have today and good massage could be back for the Brighton game

I'd like to see him play his natural position as a wide fullback?

I dont like how deep and defensive Pep uses him, and it has the benefit of letting Marmoush or Doku invert closer to Haaland for easier goals and assists.

And if he is injured, then still have O Reilly do it.

Amazed and slightly bewildered at Pep playing him deep. He excels at going forward yet Pep is using him as a stay-back defender. Much like he used to with Walker when he first signed.
