Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

I wouldn't be surprised if they trained this morning like it was pre season and then played Spurs in the afternoon.
Only half joking.

I said to my neighbour in the ground that at one point in the second half Trafford had the ball at his feet in the six yard box and Spurs had five players within six feet of the eighteen yard line.

Stop City playing out from the back and you stop them playing. Every team in the Premier League and Europe has worked this out.
Maybe fwd this to our genius manager, 18 months ago

Arsenal just brought on a 15 year old. We be sending him out on loan for a few seasons then selling him to Borussia Dortmund
I'm surprised that's allowed. What's the age restriction for playing in the PL?

48 hours ago, many on this board were saying "dump Ederson, dump Ortega, we got Trafford!" If Ederson and Ortega don't want to play for us, fine. But Trafford looked like a deer in the headlights at times. He is not the sole reason why we lost, however.
Yeah but even last week we were pushing our luck.
We're passing to Trafford on our own goal line and hoping he can deal with it.
Every team will now push high and put pressure on him.

He obviously needs to improve but in the meantime, our defenders need to do their job and deal with the situation rather than giving him the ball as much, but if he does get it, if there's not a decent pass he can make, then just get rid!

Pretty much what I thought, he wasn't in the middle to receive the ball from defenders. Too close to them.
Let's be honest here: We were outclassed.
I 8 Spurs, but they were quicker to every ball with sharp and incisive passing and a press that choked us to death.
We were slow and ponderous in attack by comparison and looked tired.
Worse, we had a way out with Haaland (often only with one defender on him on the half way line), but never took the option.
We did once early on, never looked for it again after that, very puzzling.
