It's Quiet the £250m return

The indications are City may do the same regarding Savinho, which is a further erosion of Guardiola's authority.

Pure and unnecessary speculation.

You can be certain all moves in and out are sanctioned by Pep. The tension between him and Viana or whoever at the club is exaggerated.

Only the chairman is above Pep, but he is clever enough to know Pep is a huge asset, so undermining him is completely out of question.

Reign the imagination and your doubts about Pep.

that RB position is awful to look at currently. Lewis or Nunes. opponents will target us there. imagine one of them gets injured for 3 months then the other one will start each game there playing every 3 days? even if plays mediocre?

understand Livramento is too expensive, but isnt there another RB anywhere in top leagues that can be signed at around 50m who is better than Lewis or the midfielder nunes at RB? this is so hard to believe. we have one of the best scouting system in the world probably with added networks due to CFG.
Wasn’t Dumfries available at a reasonable fee recently? Would have been perfect.

To be fair they have smelt blood and are really going for it. I know a lad who works for the admin team at the dippers and he said that the word around them lot was we had stalled badly and they wanted to really smash us to pieces going forward and John Henry had approved doing whatever it takes to finish our dominance for the future.
Bring it on I can see us hitting back very hard look at all the rumours of ins and outs

Plus maybe they know the 115 hasn’t worked if we where getting relegated etc why bother spending to compete with us

I hear a lot of made-up guff too from Liverpool fans - I feel your pain.
When we beat Wolves, it was all about the Lijnders effect.
When we lost to Spurs, Lijnders wasn't mentioned.

There needs to be, hopefully Rodrygo.
I'm not sure. There's not much time to get a big deal like Rodrygo done if we let Savinho go now. I think I'd rather keep him now. We could end up losing a winger for the sake of it, and then benefitting a rival.

I think putting Haaland on the silly contract we did is stopping us from spending. Look at when Barcelona put Messi on the silly salary he was on. It stopped them spending. Maybe that was mistake on our part, because we can't spend the money Arsenal/Dippers can due to the high wage bill we have. They have a much lower wage bill, so therefore can spend to improve all areas of their squads.

Doku and Sav are nowhere near Sane or Mahrez levels and doubt they ever will be. We need that quality and quick

Rumour Ake wants out? Guehi in to replace would be good?

I'm not so sure. Comparable defenders, but Ake's flexibility is a big plus. But then, he is in the last year of his contract, so maybe that will come into it.

Keeping Ake opens the door for Reis and Bah next year. Bringing Guehi in kind of closes it for the next couple years at least maybe.

I agree. Not seen anything to suggest the cohesion he had with Txiki and Khaldoon before isn't still there with Viana now. Don't Viana would have been brought in to undermine anything, nor that he would want to.

Makes sense. Those Everton links didn’t go anywhere but same happened with Jack a links came out, nothing happened and then signed.

Realistically we aren’t offering him a new contract and this may be his last big pay day.

World Cup year so will want to play.

Guehi would be a great signing but would worry it would push Josko to cover LB more. If we could sign someone that helps over LB then Josko and focus on CB. I’m not having any Nico can play there, it’s his time to have a chance in midfield and we haven’t got a solid RB.

Unfortunately we need a homegrown player to replace him so option limited. Guehi would be great. Not only helps us but stops him going to the dippers

Newcastle linked as well and maybe Palace would be interested?
