Premier League Games | 22/23/24/25 August '25

Getting mixed feedback so far. Guess I'll have to pay attention during the break to see it myself. That is, if Sky Sports deemed it worthy of a replay
Surprise, surprise. Nothing on the highlights package shown during the break

I can’t believe some on here think it’s not a red. It’s wreckless

If he’d gone down the back of John Stones calf you would all be up in arms

Issue is, they have done it and they weren't punished.

VAR is just picking and choosing which teams to punish, we've seen it all to often.

That was far more debatable than let's says the Henderson handball in the FA Cup Final, yet it conveniently went Liverpool's way.

Do you honestly think that handball in the final would have gone against Liverpool?

Only one of those deemed a clear and obvious error by var. Just cant be trusted anymore imo.

Ha ha!Landed on his f’kin foot, not his calf.Joke of a decision again, for one of the ‘darlings’!Can anybody remember the last time that an opposition player got sent off, when playing against City?!F’kin reffed differently, but we’re the cheats!!?Absolutely f’king sick of it,…how the fuck have we got here?!It’s a national disgrace, not the biggest league in the world!!..Jesus f’kin wept…
My bad,…just seen he did catch his calf,as it goes.He would still have got away with it against City tho!?This is what they’ve done to me in recent times,..ffs.

Gordon is one of the quickest players in the league, and he went full speed into a sliding tackle, where his foot rakes down the calf of the Liverpool player. Red all day long. Our agenda theory suffers when even this decision is met with derision
Rakes down his calf? It makes slight contact with his heel. The type of contact that happens many times in every PL game and fuck all comes of it.

We do tend to give up really good chances though due to the way we play.

We play a dangerous high line game. Sometimes we get away with it on Saturday we didn't but it was close. Trams just need pace, belt it on either wing, cross it and usually score. It's then down to var if they beat the offside trap.

In fairness to Van Dyke he took it in good spirit that could have been an awful injury

You know what - and I’ll get shit for this - he comes across as quite a likeable bloke. He doesn’t particularly whinge (has done tonight, mind) and tends to get on with it.

Also very good mates with King Kev and has always shown respect to our players and club.

Red all day long but with Var it’s how the bloke in there thinks if your slightly bias you let it go with just a yellow don’t get involved!
