I agree Arsenal look the strongest. If we can just keep relative pace with the leaders come November and find some fluidity and Rodri is rolling, never say never, as the dippers look to have gone backwards imo. Could all change, early days and we shouldn’t let our customary spanking by the spuds write off our season so early.

Not kept up enough so I'm not sure if Newcastle voted against us. But maybe now theyre in the money they will soon realise it isn't a "big six" it's a red 3, and the other 17, and this organisation(s) will do whatever they can to keep them up there to keep global eyes watching.

As others have said, we got away with it again tonight. We did the same against Bournemouth and all the new signings still have some way to go really gel and put on a good team performance. Rush of blood from Gordon changed the game. If I was being charitable I would suggest that there was a bit of rope a dope going on, but the reality was that we were just very poor. Newcastle had the best player on the pitch in Bruno and had Joelinton and Tonali not gone off I think they may well have nicked it.
Play anywhere near like that next week and we will get spanked by Arsenal

They don't look great but still sitting on two wins out of two.

They now have that winners mentality to grind out wins. Should they keep that and improve on the pitch, they're gonna be very hard to stop. They have the mentality we used to have, where you just always fancy they're gonna get the result in the end. It's hard to topple a side like that. Plus they have the kop on their side, which is a huge bonus to them at home when the kop gets rocking.

Hopefully the signs they don't look great defensively continues and they don't just look beatable but actually start losing the games too.

I don't think any team looks super strong. The league is up.for.grabs. we can win it but more performances like Saturday and we'll just be giving the likes of Liverpool a free run at it again. Arsenal are good front runners but usually can't maintain it.
