New Turnstiles v Tottenham Hotspur Tomorrow

I have a Samsung A15 with a protective screen and in a case will it work ?

My lad wants to try and get tickets but I'm not keen on the 6hr journey then having problems getting in
Get a seat on level 0 in the North Stand or the East/West Stands blocks near there as they’re still using hand-held scanners at B & Y due to the building work. Queues were a breeze on Saturday. I’m not sure how far down the east and west sides you can go before the entrance switches from B or Y though.

Posted an update on X (formerly Twitter). Spoken to club this morning and there are going to be a number of de-briefs into the access issues on Saturday, first one being today. City Matters reps have had direct feedback and seen and taken in wider feedback from here and on social media, all of the myriad issues/themes experienced on Saturday have been passed onto the club as part of unpicking all of the issues.

The NFC antenna on the Samsung Galaxy A15 is typically located on the back of the phone, near the top or center. According to some user guides, the exact position can vary slightly, but it's generally in this area. To ensure a reliable connection, make sure the NFC feature is enabled in your phone's settings and align the device's NFC area (near the top back) with the NFC tag or reader.

Here's how to find and enable NFC on your Samsung Galaxy A15:
    • 1. Open Settings:
Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the gear icon to access settings.
    • 2. Go to Connections:
      Find and tap on "Connections".
    • 3. Enable NFC:
Locate "NFC and contactless payments" and toggle the switch to the right to turn it on.
    • 4. Confirm Location (Optional):
You can also tap on "NFC and contactless payments" to see an on-screen guide and image showing the NFC antenna location
Hope that helps but no guarantee obviously
The case shouldn’t make any difference unless it’s metal and the screen protector is irrelevant
If you use tap to pay this is NFC

Has nobody at the Club thought it prudent to acknowledge the problems and issue a simple apology to those who suffered any inconvenience? Maybe offer a pie & a pint to those who arrived in good time but missed a large chunk of the game due to the technical problems? A small goodwill gesture goes a long way to placating any disgruntled "customer", it's just basic business management. Seems to me that football fans, with an emotional tie to the Club they support, are expected to just put up and shut up. They know you'll be back anyway, so normal commercial practises don't apply...you can't just decide to go a different Club next time to enjoy your football.

Although, not entirely the same circumstances, when the Co-op Live had opening issues, there were grovelling apologies, resignations and gestures of goodwill offered to those who were affected by the opening issues. This is because the owners knew full well that the AO down the road would be more than happy to have your custom.

Regular Joe football fans are treated like shit in this country, the Clubs will gladly bank your hard-earned but give you very little in return. You can bet your bottom dollar that any Tunnel Club guests who had issues gaining entry will have had gushing apologies via personal contact, an offer of compensation and a Fan Support handjob to ease the pain of missing their pre-match canapes.

The NFS tech. didn't work reliably last season either, only then we had a barcode as well. If City uploaded tickets with barcodes, then I'd be happy. As it is, I am going to ask for a plastic card when I have time to do it.

What's NFC
Near Field Communication NFC it’s a chip in the phone which in a Secure Enclave confined by you opening the device with feature recognition or code) used for communication with a reader So, the chip has information that the reader will check with a database of this is matched the next step is completed The near bit is meaning almost contact

The confusing thing is the new readers have QR code readers dont understand why the club didn’t use that as an option
It’s NFC btw

Fucking hell mate you need to explain it clearer than that.
PS. the answer is its just a chip in your phone, to pay with or a pass/ticket, as in our season tickets now.

I find that when people have background information it helps lead to better understanding of how things work
