I don't even believe some of the "blues" on this forum are actually City fans. A fair few come across as "chaos agents," rags or red dippers, masquerading as City saying ridiculous things. Their own version of "City transfer bingo" using terms like "disrespect(ed) quite often.

Gullible but well meaning blues fall for it, and internicine squabbling ensues. Meanwhile, the red top runs snickering to their mates to give everyone a laugh.

Said this before, the first paragraph anyway. They stand out a mile. There was one on the Liverpool Newcastle game the other night, slagging off Savinho with little digs in a game that had nothing to do with him.

Sad really, but that’s the internet for you where people can be who they want to be behind a keyboard.

Yeah, I think Ederson should start against Brighton, assuming nothing changes in the meantime.

Agree about the disjointed approach. With the club world Cup and our transfers leading upto that I was really optimistic we would have a stable squad coming in to the new season, and it hadn't happened like that. Think it's only fair to asky why not.
What if he gets injured? After rumours of him wanting to leave, he issued a statement saying he was staying. However, there's no sign of a contract extension being accepted or offered, but strong rumours of interest in him from Galatasary.

He's 31, in the final year of his contract, & for a club legend whose done it all, I think it best he leave this window so he can open a new chapter in his career & City can move on & set about replacing him.

Galatasary want to pay as little as possible for Ederson. City want as much as possible for Ederson.

PSG want as much as possible for Donnarumma. City want to pay as little as possible for Donnarumma.

Both possible moves are interconnected & will happen when they happen, if at all. It's just business innit...

The abuse happened. Whether you tend to believe that blues did or didn’t contribute is somewhat irrelevant.

Put yourself in their shoes.

People tend to think that anonymous trolling is fine and that public figures should be immune.

They aren’t. They’re just like anyone else. Some take it better than others. They’re human.

The day that anonymous posting on social media can’t come quickly enough. People need to be accountable for their words.
It’s soft as fuck if anonymous comments on social media make you want to move clubs and country - to a league where the fans are 10x worse.

I don’t believe for one second that’s the reason he wants to leave and no one will ever convince me otherwise.

If he goes does Pep change our style, we all know he got rid of Joe because he couldn’t do it, Bravo was fucking disaster and Ederson was the piece that finally allowed us to play the system Pep wanted, neither Ortega and Trafford can do it and now way Donurruma can, in fact im pretty sure there are no current keepers available that can, so do we play a more direct faster game with less emphasis on keeping the ball, that’s a huge turnabout from Pep if we do or is the ex Liverpool influence and the new DOF making ready for a new era under soomeone else?

For you, maybe.

It’s hard to know how you’d react if you had 150k notifications telling you and your family to fuck off until it happened to you.

It may well not be the reason he wants to leave anyway, but it could have been the final straw.

But that only works if no other **** comes in for him.
I fear for us this season if that is our strategy. To me it makes no sense. If we want him we pay PSG what they want surely. We are probably looking at 5 or 10 million of a valuation difference which to us is peanuts. We currently have a situation which we don't know who will be in goals on Sunday and for September. If we wait till January do we go with Trafford until then? or does Ederson stay until January when these moves take place? What's in this type of scenario for PSG or Donnarumma? Sounds totally fucked up to me.

Gala have moved for Lammens. Bid more than the rags have.

Lammens > Gala
Donnarumma > rags
Eddie > stays

A genuine possibility now.

Lammens only wants United and has agreed personal terms (same with Donnarumma and City) but the price is still being debated. If Galatasaray is going to 'sign' Lammens the same way they are 'signing' Akanji & Ederson it has 0 chances of happening.

its not a possibility, its just bollocks being spread around the media. Rags will probably fall for it and offer 40m for Lammens now.

not a chance Donnarumma goes to the rags, he will sit at PSG and leave in January if it comes to it. Good luck to PSG keeping that dressing room happy.
