On one level I can agree with your sentiment on this but then I remember that - even though jack is one of the nicest, most humble and genuine players to grace our shirt in years - he is also a fucking pisshead who seems incapable of staying sober, or even only getting mildly pissed, during the season and then doubles down in the off season and as such he only has himself to blame that he didn’t grasp the chance to become the greatest English player for decades when it was handed to him on a silver platter.
Come back in a few months when he can’t get in Everton’s team for all the same reasons.

In the meantime fuck off back to Rawk you murdering scouse bastard.

I'm not sure why but even without the apostrophe I've always read it in the possessive. As if the poster had been waiting outside the locker room with a razer and is now the proud owner and current wearer of said moustache.

Or possibly the runaway hairpiece grown sentience and off on forum based adventures.

Seeing as it’s a topic of conversation, my username could possibly be misleading.

I was certainly never a Gordon Davies fanboy. I liked him as a player and thought he suffered in terms of popularity from being partnered up front with a genuine Blue, and so felt a little sorry for him. But I could place another two dozen City players from before the takeover ahead of him in my affections.

Thought he was a decent poacher, but was sadly typical of the level we were at. A good pro, but never going to transform the club’s fortunes. Think he’d probably be Championship level today. Possibly lower.

When I registered on here, he was the first player that came into my head, and I remembered the moustache, and there we are.

And then I was ‘stuck’ with the name and cba changing it. Briefly flirted in my own head with changing it to ‘GDM’, but decided it would be far too self-absorbed and wanky, and conspicuously so, so elected not to.

So the prevailing lack of apostrophe and capitalisation is merely a function of a combination of my indolence and desire to not look wanky.
