Just got back from Bodo as a stop off between two destinations.

8300 capacity, and no direct flights. Chelsea and Spurs both got about 425 tickets! After players, officials, sponsors, Tunnel club and OFC I expect less than 100 available via a club flight

Expect it to be scheduled right in between a hard away ( or consecutive away pls) with ridiculous kick off times on the preceeding and following weekends. Watch this space!

Leverkusen W
Napoli D
Galatasaray W

Madrid L
Villareal W
Bodo/Glimt W
Monaco W

That would be 17 points, which would have got you 6th place in the table last year. And I think we can beat one, if not both of Dortmund and Napoli.

Factor in the bastard in the middle to make it more difficult.

Dortmund (H) - not easy but probably the best draw possible
Madrid (A) - Yawn.
Leverkusen (H) - not the team they were.
Villareal (A) - again, not a bad result.
Napoli (H) - fun but dangerous.
Bodo/Glimt (A) - not to be underestimated.
Galatasaray (H) - see Napoli.
Monaco (A) - young and exciting.

I don’t think it could be much better considering the new format.

Not sure I’d swap with a single pot 1 side.

Favourites for every single fixture except for Madrid away.

Given that we are in pot 1 we would naturally expect to be favourites for every game except the pot 1 away game regardless of who we get.

We got comfortably the best team in pot 3, and 2 of the 3 best teams from pot 4. Leverkusen are also technically the best side in pot 2 although I expect a massive decline from them this season.

I'm not suggesting we should expect to struggle with that draw, but when you look at who else we could have got its on the tougher side.
