Where would they have been without the help though? And the rules have obviously helped them…..oh..

That is why you rarely see Martin Samuel on SKY. In times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. George Orwell, not me.Just heard Martin Samuels on Times Radio, he actually said "Every single Premier League financial rule change in the last 20 years was designed to benefit and assist Manchester United".
Good old Martin....
Shame he didn't mention the Chair of the PL, Alison Brittain is a life long raggy and season ticket holder at the swamp. No conflicts of interest there then.
It's gravitational pull bent the ball around the Ipswich wall.View attachment 167546
Paul Power wearing his Gordon Davies Moustache......(No apostrophe required).
I mean, how many accounts has Nick got?,gotta be double figures;)There have been many posters who lie about who they support and there still are some outed/hiding, freely posting.
If someone coughs or is honest about their team of choice then it falls to either the mods to ban or other posters to avail the ignore button....
I was dragged to see the **** once at the Llandudno Venue Cymru, the thing went on for hour after hour after hour,by the end 2am ish I was fucking traumatised. Was it his Thatcherism, tax avoidance or penchant for child slave labour* that you admired?
*He got kids to play the diddymen in his act sometimes but never paid them even though he was.
The Taxi said fuck off!Catching the bus?..... now that is embarrassing!
Of course ;-(Are you speaking from experience.:-)
Fucking farcical it’s taken this long, assuming it’s taken this long and there aren’t backchannel conversations going on, to limit damage one way or the other, as the determination has already been circulated to the parties.
I know what some legal professionals have said on here on this point, but I am not so dismissive of this suggestion.
Think it’s perfectly plausible the club officially know the outcome.
Still think it’s going to be fine. All logic points towards that.
Absolutely fucking mental two and a half years.
Never a dull day following this football club!
Yep. As far as I can see, there are only three reasons why it's taking so long:
i) it's just routine that these sort of cases take anything up to a number of years. Possible, I suppose maybe even probable, but I have to defer to the legal people on here about that.
ii) the serious allegations were closer than we have been assuming and are taking longer to decide. I really can't imagine that that is the case. I still stick by my view that there is no way on earth the PL can prove those allegations to the standard required.
iii) there is something going on that we don't know about. Impossible to judge because obviously we don't know anything about it.
Hope that helps :)
For the sake of the integrity of the competition the PL have a duty to sort the situation out immediately, if City have been found guilty. The silence and lack of action means that they have failed to make the charges stick.Undoubtedly there is some talk going on between City and the prem . City seem cool about it all so I imagine they have a good hand at the table and are hopefully driving and shaping the way forward . Unfortunately it was never going to be a scorched earth policy if City won. Khaldoon and Mansour are supreme business people and if they see an opportunity to put City in a better position then they will take it, the fact it's all gone quite with absolutely no leaks from the prems side tells me they are the ones on the backfoot, because if they had won they would have leaked stories and they would have tried to destroy us further in the media .
It’s the unknown unknowns that get you in the end.iii) there is something going on that we don't know about. Impossible to judge because obviously we don't know anything about it.

Corned beef is excellent.
Could well be it's the lack of leaks on the prems side that lead me to think they are the ones that are trying to cut some kind of deal here. For there to be no leaks nothing, the media have nothing or if they do are not going to publish on legal grounds seems mightly strange .Could the time it’s taken so far be because the panel has unearthed clear corruption by the premier league in aspect towards City, while turning a blind eye concerning other sides..
The fact is though is the case has been heard it's now up to the independent panel to decide the outcome and not for the Premier League or City to do a 'deal' , that ship has sailed and would have been done before the case had been heard.Yep.
