Whatever rules the PL decide to implement will be mainly for the benefit of the Rags and will have no rules about being in debt.
So, like the latest set when they came into force.Whatever rules the PL decide to implement will be mainly for the benefit of the Rags and will have no rules about being in debt.
If the rules are deemed illegal as in the APT case then they will have to be changed immediately. The PL (and City) will have had to have detailed plans in place for all potential outcomes. And that the rules are about to change after the verdict is announced.
And that the rules are about to change after the verdict is announced.
Spot on. There is always, and always has been, political interference. The recruitment process is always political and there are always back channels. The new football regulator will be politically influenced. That said hopefully it will be an improvement on the current totally corrupt structure where a small cartel of clubs control major decisions within the PL leadership team.Despite what people tell us I believe independence in regulatory bodies & arbitrators is a myth—not because laws don’t demand it, but because power, funding, and appointments quietly shape outcomes. True autonomy only exists when no major stakeholder feels threatened; once political, financial, or reputational risks emerge, influence creeps in through soft pressure, strategic delay, or selective enforcement.
Jordan's main source from Club Directors is Levy so you can be very confident that he has been given a heads-up on which way the wind is blowing. I also think Stefan's calm and measured media narrative has had an influence on many in the media. The loons like Delaney and Harris increasingly look like outliers. Also telling that Simon Jordan is suddenly and firmly in the "PL PSR should be completely ditched" camp. Which makes sense to me, tbh. It's taken a while but he definitely likes to be in the right. Eventually.......
Soft signals, I suppose.

What’s that famous old saying….Fucking farcical it’s taken this long, assuming it’s taken this long and there aren’t backchannel conversations going on, to limit damage one way or the other, as the determination has already been circulated to the parties.
I know what some legal professionals have said on here on this point, but I am not so dismissive of this suggestion.
Think it’s perfectly plausible the club officially know the outcome.
Still think it’s going to be fine. All logic points towards that.
Absolutely fucking mental two and a half years.
Never a dull day following this football club!
I can see it now,the fat red cartel ponce smirks as he reveals 4 of a kind, only for Khaldoon to show a royal flush….”now fuck off you ****”Undoubtedly there is some talk going on between City and the prem . City seem cool about it all so I imagine they have a good hand at the table
I am 100% sure not one character was written on this decision in the whole of August.
Apparently so because this was too sensitive to be entrusted to any lesser staff (according to a BM Forum answer some weeks ago). Are the panel members writing this thing themselves, though? I find it hard to believe they are sat in front of a computer typing 500 pages. Surely they have staff members working on it and, I don't suppose, none of the staff have the entire month of August off?
You may have replied to this question previously and, if so, I have missed your reply. How did you come to choose your sign in name?I'm city through and through
I clearly get involved in all match threads, transfer threads etc and I'm extremely pro city
I don't think it's been suggested that PSR rules are illegal? Where would that leave pretty much every other football association who have similar rules. Not a deal in the classic sense of a deal to try and make a problem go away before any legal action , but if the prem have now been forced to come to City because it's being proven to them that their rules are illegal and could even be seen as corrupt then they will want to try and see how much of that can be kept out of the public eye, and for that they will be needing Citys cooperation, this is where the likes of Khaldoon and Mansour
Will be striking the best possible deal to ensure the prem never come after us again, and that the prem change how they operate in the future, effectively becoming City's bitches .
Corrected for youJordan's main source from Club Directors is Levy so you can be very confident that he has been given a heads-up on which way the wind is blowing. I also think Stefan's calm and measured media narrative has had an influence on many in the media. The loons like Delaney and Harris increasingly look like outright liars
They will 100% write it themselves in its entirety. Gross dereliction of duty if they don’t.Are the panel members writing this thing themselves, though? Even if it is dumped by the PL they will still have to comply with UEFA Squad Cost Rules
