PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Of course they’re not. But it doesn’t stop them from having illicit conversations with those that are. Indeed, it’s a nice cover. The PL has huge hidden powers albeit they’re pretty stupid & are beginning to look more corrupt each year.

Don’t you think the VAR decisions so far have been even more blatantly wrong already this season?

VAR is a perfect way of helping “favoured” teams & it’s happening in front of our eyes but we’re powerless to stop it. At least we could fight the PL; UEFA charges but there’s nothing we can do about VAR - unless certain clubs start to campaign against the decisions.

The media is starting to question & highlight some of the latest instances so maybe things will have to change?
It can’t be true for that to happen it would need the referee his assistants and the VAR officials to be involved and told how to implement the rules
There is about 6/7 officials per game involved in about 10 games per weekend
There is also the technical people who run the system who maybe have are able to listen to the conversations
There are simply to many people involved in VAR somebody somewhere would whistle blow
A lot of VAR decisions are speculative I believe the decision makers are juts inept not corrupt

you could be right but why didn't they do it for klopp when he won the league. Just think if your looking at players you try and get them in when there's less competition for them the last thing these teams would want is Newcastle etc throwing money around would be more of a problem for rags spurs arse who don't really win much one of the main benefits to are rivals is the charges and player recruitment that I'm sure would always be used in player recruitment
I am more of the opinion these clubs are spending before scr and anchoring comes in as intended next season. Psr is more relaxed than that when it comes to what you can spend.

Which begs the question of whether hammering the PL into total legal submission is actually in the business interests of City.
To destroy the vehicle is presumably not the objective but simply to ensure it's rules are legal and fairly applied.
Regarding personalities I'm sure our owners will find ways to sort them out away from PL matters.
It would only put the European breakaway league back on the agenda. With the irony being that City would be one of the breakaway clubs once again.

well as there is definitive evidence that they are inept (& that’s being kind) - why has there been no attempt by the organisations concerned, to examine every decision in detail to iron out the flaws. Human error is the main problem so that has to be eliminated by removing the “clear & obvious” criteria & requiring VAR to examine every goal, dubious tackle & offside.
Offside should be simplified by requiring players feet only to be considered - not the stitching on his shirt or his shoulder.

If VAR is not corrupt, it’s a failure & is ruining the game because of the number of decisions that are inconsistent

Enjoyment has been removed - for what?? In my opinion the reason is to help the usual suspects who cannot accept their decline. And media outlets that rely on income related to those declining clubs. Sky needs the “global support” for rags & cannot accept that if things were fair - other clubs would have that global support.

How can your arm be offside. You can’t score with your lower arm? Why no transparency about the process. The broadcasters can hear the VAR team. Can the VAR team hear the commentary. Why is there a selective approach where certain decisions are analysed and others not?

The words ‘involved and told how to implement the rules’ rings a bell.

We are definitely refereed differently than the opposition on almost every challenge in every game ...... never mind just against the red shirts.

The commentators can hear the VAR, that's why they get all clever at predicting what's going to happen. You'd like to think the VAR was more professional than to be listening to the commentators, who quite often don't actually know the rules

That’s exactly right. It’s discriminatory & it’s not transparent like cricket or rugby. It should be all or nothing - not just selective incidents - which is why there is mistrust & doubt about whether it is honest & unbiased.
similar incidents get different treatment (as do teams) and that is corruption at its best

There’s not a single one of those officials that knows what’s good for their career. What teams you get decisions wrong & those you can’t unless it’s in their favour & there’s enough “grey” to convince themselves why they make them.

Any MINUSCULE of doubt that VAR is corrupt was destroyed with what can only be described as THE MOST DISRACEFUL DECISION IN THE HISTORY OF FOOTBALL…..

Yep even though the goalkeeper CLEARLY handled outside the box,oh and CLEARLY swatted the ball away from the the oncoming striker….nothing happened,VAR thought that was ok.

The fact it was pretty much forgotten after a few days….sort of sums how City are viewed and treated….

What did Khaldoon say when the Der Spiegal shite dropped?

CLEAR & OBVIOUS
Followed closely behind by that joke of an offside goal in the fairly recent derby match!

Very much agree with only considering feet when VAR looks at offside.

It should be “stood offside”, not “Leaning offside”.

I thought your arm couldn't be offside, has this rule been changed also?
