I thought there were some promising signs that half. It's not quite there yet though and it may take a few more games.

We've looked more solid for the most part and created a few decent chances. Bobb and Reijnders need to be a bit more careful with the ball and get into the game more. Marmoush tends to try and run through players rather than around them or passing but there is plenty of ability in all 3 of them.

Keep this up and improve our passing and we should win this.

More encouraging than not for me. We’ve created a bunch of chances or half-chances in transition which is great to see

Want to see a bit more from Bernardo. He’s been plugging gaps well when other players go forward but if you play central midfield for a Pep side you need to affect the play more with the ball

Think Trafford has got everything right so far. Good decision making, kicking long when it was the right choice, came out to clear with his head decisively, and of course a really smart save at 0-0

Marmoush appears to lack intelligence, focusing primarily on running and shooting. Had 2-3 opportunities to counter, but he could not see the pass .
That one situation when he just had to pass to ball to Bobb , pissed me off

Great set up and movement. Good defence. Good pressing up front especially Marmoush. Pretty shoddy passing. Looks like the grass has been kept long which might not be helping. Lots of mistakes though. Cut those down and we’ll walk this. Love that midfield 3. Love Kuz at the back

Think Bernardo needs to come off for O'Reilly or Gonzalez he's not offering anything
Bernardo glues us all over the pitch. I think Nico would give us even more control, so maybe something to think about.

I thought the opposite, yes, he should have passed to Bobb, but overall a lot of intelligent movement, and a great assist.

It’s a bit frustrating, isn’t it? The ref stopped the game right before the end to get a player checked out, and then blew the whistle just a second after play started. It’s one of those things that makes us wonder about the officials sometimes.

I thought that. The extra time was over by a few seconds so why not blow for the end of the half.
