I think having Kushanov at the back is very useful, as his runs to collect balls in no man’s land cover our past weakness with slow defenders.

But that's credit to the opposition usually. It was the same when Kyle Walker always had it. Opponents will press everyone else, but let the weakest on-the-ball player have it because they know 99 times out of 100, he's doing nothing with it.

Usually, but over the past year or so, our gameplan has given the CBs too much possession. Last season, it was a symptom of 3 1 6 in attack
 
Sometimes I think Stones invites some of the pressure because he doesn't realize how much better he is on the ball than his fellow defenders
