Remove our only goal threat and put more pressure on a shambolic defence to keep a clean sheet to have any chance of getting anything out of a game?, great idea!

Who were they? Genuine question. A nasty thought recently crossed my mind...are we signing B class instead of A class because A class players don't want to run the risk of our PL charges? Hoping you guys can debunk that theory.

I’ve coached at many levels & when I watch Nunes, it’s like he’s turned up to training at an under 14’s team & he looks like he will be a fantastic athlete & so quick - then you quickly realise he’s never player football before, as he has no concept of the game in terms of space, passing, heading the ball & the rules of the game. He was like an 8 year old defending trying to save his face when giving the penalty away! Prior to that he needed to just let Trafford pick the ball up but be proceeded to trap the ball, which meant Trafford couldn’t pick it it up - he’s like a brain dead 8 year old who doesn’t know the rules! Astonishing we haven’t gone out to get a right back!

Thought Rodri bossed the game until their subs came on & he ran out of steam, surely Pep should have added Nico to help him - which was the same as last year!

I don’t understand how we end up with some much space between our defenders - pick 4 defenders that can defend - Pep reverted to that in our treble year & needed now!

Other teams don't know how to defend it because they don't have anybody to mark and players like Foden and Silva who would stand between the lines and find little pockets of space and in on goal

Needed the second goal but looked content to sit on a one goal lead. The Brighton coach rolled the dice by subbing half his team and it worked as we seemed bamboozled by the changes. The crowning turd on the dung pile was that twat Milner scoring - he is 39 ffs.

We had chances at 1-0 though. Bobb inches away from getting a good connection from that clever ball of Marmoush’s. Bobb himself jinking past a couple of their players in the box. It was shaping up to be a professional away performance but once they got the equaliser, the momentum was with them and we couldn’t handle it. That’s worrying and it’s difficult to see too many positives with the way we ended the game but I still think there was more to be upbeat about compared to the Spurs defeat. A lot of these players are stlll to gel properly and Rodri is slowly getting back up to speed. The next 2 league games are a huge concern but I’m not chucking the towel in on this team just yet.

I think these 3 games coming after last season is the bigger picture they're looking at.
We still seem to be struggling.
I won't call for Pep's head but I bet even he realises how big the rags game is now

Do you really think that last point ? He's always downplayed the Derby as being nothing more than 3 points available like any other game. He's always talked up United and never appeared to me to go for the jugular even when we've been by far the superior team on form. Like he's very happy to take the emotion out of the occasion. Too often they've come away from the Etihad with 3 points under his leadership.

Now here's something that will outrage everybody. I never hated Klopp. That's the truth. OK, he was a bit of a prat, but I never hated him. And his track record as a manager was good. He stood up to Bayern, in one of the most sycophantic leagues, with one of the most sycophantic presses, in European football. Without the resources that City had. Did well at Liverpool, and would have done much better, except that he had the misfortune to be up against God's own, when God's own was unstoppable. I think he'd do wonders with us.
