Brighton & Hove Albion (A) | Post Match Thread

I think our fans are mentally gone after just 3 games.

Lewis and Nunes cannot play together, and if that is not bad enough, don’t add Akanji on top of the two on pitch.

Fans ask for direct play and the now you got direct plays. Now no complaints about side and back passes from fans in the post match thread. It is a good change.

B Silva is not a leader nor a playmaker.

Absolute rubbish defending. Couldn't watch today as I was occupied but watched the highlights and so open in all the Brighton attacks.

How about how shit we looked after their first goal? Zero urgency. That's not about talent. That's a team that couldn't give much of a fuck or just doesn't believe in what the boss is telling them. Are people watching the same game?

Yeah that was absolute crap. 6 mins injury time too. We should be bombarding them in that spell. Absolutely nothing. They do seem to be running out of ideas.

Was just thinking about the Liverpool vs Arsenal game today... The Tarquin's look like they are in the "post success" phase already... and they've won fuck all!

To be honest The Dippers were not much better and that's after 300M of cash being spunked dup the wall...

Made me feel a bit better tbh...

No end in sight to this downward spiral, three games in the new season and we look like we are in the last week of April.
But hey, people are free to believe in miracles!

It just looks to me that team that went partying after winning 23/24 title never came back from that party.

Love Brighton and the people down there, but the bunch in that stadium are fucking donkeys.

We all knew the decline would come but I expected more from the Club in the process. In every sport a once dominant team seemingly looses its aura, Leeds in Rugby League, Yorkshire in Cricket, Exeter in Rugby Union and of course United in football. Looking to the States whatever happened to The Dallas Cowboys... Clubs become complacent at the hierarchy level, managers burn out and players grow old. It happens in business when people take their eye of the ball. The High St and Electronics Industry are littered with once great names disappearing. We thought we had the best Board in the world but unfortunately that no longer appears to be true and we are suffering, hopefully temporarily, as a result

Don't think that a keeper will make much difference on the pitch, but your comment re: the dressing room might be right on the money.

You have to wonder who is the driving force in there? Rodders on the pitch, but somehow I can't imagine him having that slightly intimidating presence to put the steel into

See my thread on strategy
