Many posters have said he is a crap shot stopper and a crap keeper. Both untrue. He was the best gk in the world for what we needed.

You are right, he was the best in the world for what we needed which was all foot related. He wasn't a great goalkeeper by definition but great for us.

Thank you Eddie, you are a club legend and a huge part in our success. Whilst I am one of his critics you cannot ignore his influence on our success. Good luck

Definitely suited us for the way we play out..no other keeper could do what he's done with regards to playing out from the back.
Absolutely loved watching him even if he did give me palpitations with just how nerveless he was under pressure..

Vastly underappreciated by many. No player has been more vital to this Pep era than Ederson. Should have done everything possible to get him on a new contract.

I suspect he'll start to get some long overdue recognition over the next 12 months as people see how much we will struggle without him and begin to realise as fans we've largely taken him for granted.

Tottenham Hotspur - 2024 - Ederson suffered a head injury and wanted to stay on - was ultimately subbed off for his own safety against his will. That's the seed of all of this. Since then, Ederson apparently feels that he's not appreciated enough and has sought to leave our club.

Don't get me wrong - I love Ederson - and I still think he absolutely fits our system in spite of some keeping errors - but it's clear that Ederson wants to leave our club. And the event above seems to be initiating reason.

But at the same time - fuck off! Grow a pair. Don't get butt-hurt if you're subbed off - especially if it's for your own health. And if it's due to performance (which I don't think is the case), you need to suck it up and earn your place.

For me, Donnarumma in, is going to be a disaster - not because Donnarumma is a bad keeper, but rather, that he doesn't fit our system at all.
