Somewhere on the site, fuck knows what thread, I commented that killing Bin Laden was wrong, totally wrong.
I was rounded on by the great and good.
I mentioned that if it's OK to 'off' Bin Laden where do you stop, surely you could make out an argument that just about anybody was a legitimate target.
Nobody agreed.
In the last 2 days we learn that North Korean fisherman were murdered by Navy Seals in 2019 (Trumps first term) and now 11 people who were on a speedboat, in international waters were murdered by US military. Because they were suspected drug dealers it seems it's ok to break international law. There is no proof drugs were on board, no proof of a destination of the alleged cargo, nothing.
My point about Bin Laden was correct. You start with him and it allows you move onto anyone you don't like.
I assume murdering Narco Terrorists within the US is now, or soon will be, acceptable.
The definition of a Narco Terrorist is presumably very flexible.
