I've bought here plenty of times, fortunately never had a problem and really appreciate the opportunities as have no other way of getting tickets for a lot of games.
If there's a spare for the Derby I'm very keen, have membership etc, cheers in advance.
I'm over 65, so can take a concession tkt if available.

Great shout. What I say is just get the money in your account first if selling, or get ticket in your bin before you pay out. People selling tickets with hardly any messages or/and time on site should be ignored.

I have often wondered, from the point of view of sticking to the Forum rules, what exactly “face value” means. Does it mean the cost to the seller of acquiring the seat or the price at which the club is selling tickets, in that part of the ground.

So, say I am a season ticket holder who has paid £775 for the season and the pro-rata cost of each game is about £40. For a big game like United, the club will sell it for, say, £75. Which one of those is the "face value"? Perhaps the mods could clarify?

In my personal opinion, face value in this sort of situation would be 1/19th of your outlay for the season card, as that is what you paid to the club. I'm not saying that's forum policy; I don't know what said policy is re the discrepancy between the two prices you refer to.

Yeah, I think 1/19th is the best guide for face value but ultimately it’s for the people involved to agree a reasonable price. The rule is in place to stop people taking the piss for big games, trying to sell tickets at hugely inflated prices.

You've said before to me,it's face value,what the season ticket holder paid,or up to what the club are charging for the ticket in whatever the area said ticket is in.

Only way is to either scan them in at the ground or give your account details then log them out afterwards. You can also give your account to someone who you trust who is going to the game and they can scan them in.
