Yes. If you only wacthed the champions league games you'd be over the moon. He was incredible in those games. But the seasons before I've seen him fuck up numerous times and look like a 5'5 goalie on crosses.

Hope we get CL Donnarumma.

I have seen people say he’s a big game player but can drop a level in run of the mill games. No idea if thats true but will need to stay consistent or Trafford will be waiting for his chance.

They dont come much bigger for us than Sunday. Hope he's bang on it :)
 
Only saw the highlights and didn't seem at fault for at least 3 of the goals - was he an issue elsewhere?

There's a clip going round of him flapping at a corner which resulted in a goal. A goal that was ruled out for a foul...on the keeper.

Expect any little error (or perceived error) to be highlighted to fuck for the first few weeks while he's here.

Alisson was the same too until people realised he was absolute mustard.

Italy's national goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has become the world's highest-paid goalkeeper following his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Manchester City, according to the Roman daily newspaper La Repubblica. Based on his fixed salary alone, the 26-year-old, who was dropped by the French champions, will earn around €78 million net with the Skyblues until 2030 – more than any goalkeeper has ever earned before.

If the option for an additional year is exercised, a further €19 million is earmarked. According to the report, annual bonuses of up to €3 million could be added to this. Two of these are linked to team goals: winning the Premier League and the Champions League. There is also said to be a bonus for games without conceding a goal.

Donnarumma moved to Paris on a free transfer from AC Milan in 2021. After winning the Champions League with PSG at the end of May and with a contract extension (until 2026) already under discussion, coach Luis Enrique decided to give preference to 23-year-old Lucas Chevalier. Manchester City then lured Donnarumma to the Premier League for a transfer fee of €27 million, where he will succeed Ederson (who has moved to Fenerbahce Istanbul) in Pep Guardiola's team.
