Chelsea hit with 74 FA charges for alleged rule breaches

Posted this in our own charges thread:

Stefan said a long time back that Chelsea are potentially in a lot more shit than we are, given that they've admitted to some wrongdoing during Abramovich's ownership. I'm not sure if these charges also relate to some additional stuff that has subsequently come out regarding third party payments which they didn't admit to, but if they do then they could be in even deeper trouble than first thought - assuming they get found guilty of course
 
It’ll be interesting to see if they plead guilty. They self reported themselves.

If they do, then “sentencing” could be quite quick.
 
I'm guessing the FA are only following this up as Chelsea identified these " breaches" themselves.
 
watch the media on how they report it! Because I’ll bet it be gone in the media come next Monday! They won’t have the media going on about it for months! What the previous owner did means nought it’s Chelsea football club who cheated so paying players of the books to make them sign for them is very very serious that was absolutely a sporting advantage! They could have never won certain trophies if they didn’t Cheat!
