There is nothing improper or out of the ordinary in deploying a quote made by someone when they are alive that assumes significance and/or irony upon their death, especially if that death is sudden and violent.

It was done prolifically with Malcom X, John Lennon and Diana off the top of my head. I’m sure there are many more.

There is now speculation that it was a chest shot that pierced his shirt hit some form of body armour then went up and entered the neck around the chin area exiting where all the blood came from - have looked at the post and it seems plausible

just before he keels over there is a black dot that appears on the shirt - could be conspiracy but it does look plausible if you can get to see a close up film of it. Also if it was a pro hit then if you are as far away as the shooter was would make sense to aim for the centre of the target.

Also if the shooter was such a pro he /she gets up on the roof, takes the shot, left no evidence at the scene then just chucks a gun with ammo daubed with various transgender and anti-fascist messages in some bushes ... ? Oh I see Kash Patel is telling us these truths.

I disagree with all gun violence but if someone who thinks it’s ok to tolerate a few (or a lot of) deaths as a consequence of everyone having their 2nd amendment rights then I’m not going to get too upset if he ends up being a victim. I’ll save my sympathy and empathy for people who don’t think it’s ok for random people to die as a result of a gun nut’s 2A rights.

I was searching my emotions on what happened to Kirk today. I felt sorrow for his children.

Kirk, himself, felt no empathy for what was happening to Palestinian children if they weren't Christian. He was, also, a champion of the 1st and 2nd Amendment; the right to bring his extreme right wing talking points to campuses and the right to have guns.

I don't know if he was assassinated by an outside country to cause further division within the US or by someone who felt maligned by his views. The end result is the same.

Just remember there are murders and assassinations in the US and Palestine every day for which he cared little about.

It's strange how things come to pass tying things together.

I didn’t say you specifically said it. There are plenty of posts on here quoting him and his language. I’m struggling to understand why you would do that, if you want to argue against gun violence.

The implication is ‘he believed in guns, therefore he got was coming to him’. There’s plenty on here implying that, which goes completely against being non violent.

What's the relevance of whether she works for the BBC? She works for a number of broadcasters but clearly they do not seem to have a problem with her expressing her views. Surely if she or GL does not do so whilst on air what is the problem.

Just watched it again and there is a hole in his chest it bleeds when the blood also comes out his neck and he does appear to have something under his T-shirt. Bullets will exact wherever they can they are designed to splinter so going in through the chest then exiting out the neck.
