It'll be interesting to find out the background and motives of the shooter. Can't remember hearing much about the one that had a pop at trump once they caught him. I can understand why trump and Kirk get on people's tits, but shooting them seems a bit extreme.

He might not have directly hurt anyone, but the narrative he was putting out there for his lovely followers has ended up with friends of mine in the US of Spanish and Mexican/South American descent feeling the need to keep their passports on them at all times, and are scared to go out in public (and white friends absolutely screaming into the ether as to what their country has become). Kirk was a massive part of the discourse that caused them to live in a country where they have to do that. Fuck that shit. I wish he hadn't been killed, but he was a ****. And made a lot of money off being a ****.

Again, his wife seemed to be haply with him, so what he said must not have been bad in practice, no matter how he worded it (badly).

I am sure some Muslims have bad intentions, just like some Christians, or anyone.

I don't care what he claims about stealing spots. That's his imperative. I don't have to agree with it, sounds quite ridiculous.

Finally, Floyd was a scumbag by any definition, was also on fentanyl when he died, and the rest is him speculating, even if he is wrong.

I don't get what is this supposed to show? Chat GPT is quite accurate, yes, looks quite accurate to me.

None of this changes my position on Charlie Kirk, which is that despite having some bad takes(the biblical one about gays is quite awful, but then he had numerous gay friends), he didn't deserve to die, and anyone wishing him (or any political commentar) death is a bad person themselves.
