Fantasy Premier League - 2025/26 | Official BlueMoon League + Cup

35 pts this week. Dreadful.
I've scraped my way up to 51 points which looks good. Seems a low scoring week. The app says 24 average which I'm guessing is just slow to update but very few goals from big players or big clubs even.

Haaland getting 3 bonus is odd but I'll take it. He's my cpt so 18 from him. I sold Watkins for Pedro who got 9 pts so I'll take that as well.

Played my wildcard now which is what I was holding out to the international break for. Have crafted a team with Salah and Haaland in but the former does present a dilemma. Salah feels like you need to have him in there yet if games ended at 90 minutes he'd have returned pretty much nothing so far. Interesting.

I thought Ndoye and Wood would have been good for at least 10-15 pts between them, up against a shit West Ham side. Three points from them, and only two points from Reijnders and R.A.N. And only a point each from Saliba and Van Der Ven. That's a total of 7 pts from nearly half my team.

I thought Forest would easily beat West Ham, had triple Forest for a grand total of 4 points.

Where the fuck did that Hammers performance come from? Wild Card time, I think. Particularly with Cherki facing a prolonged spell in the treatment room.
I've no idea Jim, I thought it would be about 3-0 for Forest not the other way around.

My WC is active and there's a few conundrums to sort out. What to do with Ekitike now they've signed Isak, being the main one, don't know if I should just upgrade him straight to Isak?

Ekitike seems to have hit the ground running. Whereas it's a huge step up for Isak. But it's hard not to go with Isak. You've got a decision to make, that's for sure. As have I. Salah, or no Salah. Saliba with a knock. Gunn and AWB to be possibly shipped out, to strengthen the bench.

I have Salah in my draft but he doesn't look absolutely essential long term at the moment, that could certainly change though. About Isak, I'm not sure he will go straight into the team after not playing for so long and there now being an international break. I can see him coming off the bench for a couple of games, so I'm thinking it might be wise to keep Ekitike but leave enough in the bank to upgrade to Isak at a later date. It would mean me having to downgrade one or possibly two positions to give me the money though.

Agree on salad. I think this is the season his age catches up with him.

I'd wait on Isak as well. Lots of pressure. Slot will probably ease him in.

I absolutely hate this international 'break' that happens just as the season gets going. It really depresses me. Football is back, fantasy football is back and then we have this gap and it coincides with schools going back, the start of Autumn/colder weather and darker nights.

I really wish they would sort out another time for these qualifiers, I don't mind so much the ones later in the season, but this 2 week gap, just after we have got going in real football and fantasy football is just so annoying.

P.S. It also hurts me that for a couple of weeks when I look at a Premier League table City are below United, hopefully that will be sorted out when PL football returns!

Same, and that as well as the Aston Villa performances put me over the top in pressing the WC button late Sunday night. Enough is enough of my current team with too much NFO defense and AVL attack, and I've had 7 changes since, and maybe a few more to make.

I will not be bringing in Ekitike if that helps with what you are thinking. I'll take the hit if you plan on keeping him for points.

I'm gradually coming round to the idea of moving Ekitike on, probably for Gyokeres, he just looks like a minutes risk now. It's unfortunate with Burnley being the next game but it is what it is. Sarr picking up an injury is disappointing because he was nailed on in my WC team, I'm considering Grealish around the same price point now.

I've got funds over and can afford Grealish too, but he's not currently on my WC roster, but easily could be before things settle before the deadline. He's one I'm thinking about for sure. The MIDfield is so empty of options right now with Sarr just going out, I might be playing a 5-2-3 or 4-3-3 this week, but I look to have 3 FWDs no matter what.

Similar situation for me, happy with the defence, keepers and forward picks but midfield I'm struggling with a little bit. I've got 3 solid picks and think I'll also go with a 4.5 bench option which leaves me with 8.1m for my last pick but there's not one player I particularly like or who stands out. I might even go with Paqueta and bank just over 2m which will help me get to Isak eventually.

Haven't even looked at the site since the Brighton game. But I think it's Wildcard time. RAN and Cherki both injured, Saliba rated as a 75% chance of playing. Toying with the idea of doing the unthinkable; shifting Salah on. It'd free a lot of cash, but they've got Burnley, Everton and Palace in their next three games. He could well be in for a few points in those games. Also looking at changing Gunn and Beto off the bench, in preparation for a potential BB (not this week though; I think!)
