At the Tottenham game in Citizens, Ricky spoke with such enthusiasm about his upcoming fight. He always had time for anyone in the lounge and was never overly bothered.

There'll be a table for 4 empty today and I expect a muted atmosphere.

Real sickener this. He always seemed a happy go lucky guy but obviously with the well documented drink, drugs and mental health issues.

Still watch recent interviews with him on the many YT boxing channels and there was always that underlying feeling about how long he might be with us for.
