The Boys in Blue never give in. They fight to the end. Come on City, come on City. Show ‘em lads, show ‘em all. Especially those zounderkites from Stretford, the crowd of numpties.

Especially the alleged sports journalists who wouldn’t know an ice hockey puck from a football. The load of bawheids that they are. Rantallions every one of them…… well the male ones anyway!

Especially the so called officials, yes official muckspout jelly bellies who couldn’t read the rules never mind understand them. They are fopdoodles who follow sheep.

Even now, after all this time they still don’t know who we are!! We are MANCHESTER CITY THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD.

So stick that in your pipes and smoke it.

Come on Lads do it for Ricky, do it for a true Blue.

Pep, please pick John Boy. :-) :-)

Results-wise, definitely, but performance-wise? Not so sure.

I seem to remember us really riding our luck on that run-in. I'd never seen so many glaring opportunities missed by opposing strikers as we repeatedly sneaked through by the odd goal. Then of course that excuse for a Cup Final, played out like an end-of-season mid-table dead rubber.

I agree with you that fighting for top 4 is probably it this season - let's face it, hardly embarrassing - but it's so disappointing that everything just feels like a continuation of last year, in terms of no real team identity and hoping that doing the same thing will bring different results. And recruitment? Buying RAN - effectively another midfielder - as a serious solution to the full-back issues? I bet the other coaches can't believe their luck at this 'same old, same old' approach.

From around January time, most on here were hoping for 'top 5 finish then reset in the summer'. Not much sign of that, in these admittedly early stages.

Today is all about the result, obviously, but whether it's 4-0 or 0-4, something seismic needs to happen before the season is much older.
I think the gist of it, is if we are still in the same form/state next year then yes we are spiralling/doomed. Everybody knew there would be a drop off at some point. We have reached dizzying heights that few teams will ever succeed.
Until then, i'm not writing us off. :)

Hi guys - I am not able to get up to the game today - have to be in Exeter can anyone recommend a place to watch it near the city centre please

hopefully its not too late to do a minutes silence or black armbands. would be fitting given its the derby he was loved by all mancs

Proper Derby this one. We need to win and prove to ourselves that we can get over the line in big games. Guts and commitment required.
