The bridge is closed to heavy vehicles, so our coach from Denton has to do the same
If anyone is interested we have places on a coach that goes from Haughton Green, stopping at the Chapel House, Crown Point, Coop Audenshaw, it's £10 return at the moment. Leaving 1.5 hours before kick off and returning 1hour after the final whistle, don't really want people that want to pick and chose their games need it to be full for every game, if you are interested PM me

Match bus 15 was ridiculous on Saturday, absolutely rammed and got back into Middleton at 4pm for a game that finished at 2:30pm, extra stops now on route and got rid of 15X makes this not as easy as it first was, is there any plans to get the 15X back?

Does anyone know if the Alti bus which goes via sale and Stretford is generally full
By the time it gets to sale? Thinking of trying it for the derby. Thanks in advance.

Hello, thanks for getting in touch and sharing your feedback, I am really sorry you didn't have a good experience on Saturday. We’re continuing to monitor all of our routes and passenger levels, and we’ll keep analysing the data to make sure there’s enough capacity for everyone to travel comfortably. I have shared your comments about the 15X, and we’ll take them into account as we review future plans.

Hello, You will be fine getting on in Sale. It is usually busier on the return journey but not to the point you wont be able to get on.

Hi all, just a quick heads up for anyone travelling to the derby on Sunday. National Highways will be carrying out major bridge repairs on the M60 anticlockwise carriageway between junctions 20 and 19 from 10pm Friday 12 to 5am Monday 15 September.

To safely carry out the works, single lane traffic will be in place from 6am Saturday to 9pm Sunday. Significant delays are expected, with traffic modelling suggesting up to three hour delays at peak times on Saturday and up to two hours on Sunday, with additional disruption likely due to matchday traffic.

Drivers are strongly advised to avoid this section of the M60 if possible, use alternative routes, plan ahead, allow extra time, or consider re-timing their journey. For more information and updates, visit: https://nationalhighways.co.uk/m60-irk

I've not taken it into the Etihad, but have got the Etihad to Sale service a few times and it was mullered, got on, but standing room only and congested.

The great thing about going from Sale is that if it arrives and you can't get on, it's a 5-10 walk to the Metrolink station as a backup. Let us know how you get on

I've caught that bus a few times to the Etihad from Hale. I've never seen it be so full they won't let passengers on, and that includes stops further down the route from Sale.

@matchdaybus just a thought for Sunday's game. It might be a good idea to check tickets on boarding to ensure only Blues are boarding, particularly after the game. If it's the regular drivers, like the Altrincham bus is he will probably know the majority of the regulars so making it easier. Normally it's not a problem that would occur for away fans as many usually just get the tram or the 216 service, but for the few local reds there they may know about this service and decide to jump onboard. This could lead to friction given the emotion involved with derby matches.

had a similar problem on MC15 last season with rag fans who had been to co-op to watch Bruce Springstein getting on match bus and making it vocal who they followed

About three years ago or so, maybe more, I got on the 216 bus after the derby and there was about six of the wankers sat at the back. We had won 2-0 but they were still gobbing off. All blokes in their mid twenties upwards arguing with City fans and just being typical rags. The bus was still stationary and things were getting heated. Being a derby there was a police presence outside the buses and they spotted it and came aboard and made them leave. They were even kicking off with the police and eventually the police opened the emergency exit and got them off that way. I have no doubt if they hadn't it would have been a fight. If God forbid we lose and there are a few giving it large on the bus afterwards it could get nasty.
