Well, Donnarumma has had a good half, as has Foden. Silva is having a shocker, no pace, outmuscled, and overrun, needs to come off...Doku doing well, which is nice to see, but I think we need a bit more steel in the middle with Gonzalez coming on for Bernie? Id also like to see someone go through Fernandes, not because he's running midfield, but just because he's a shithouse...
 
Good play for goal and some nice one touch stuff at times.

Sloppy in the pass and giving too many cheap free kicks in dangerous areas.

Need to tighten up, particular Rodri and Rudolf.

He’s trying to do too much in supporting Rodri and Reijnders so he has so much more space to make up. Gonzalez next to Rodri should reduce the need to babysit the midfield from the wing.
 
Beenado said he is not there to see the space behind the defense. Says that's Foden's position.


Can someone tell Capitan the space behind Dorgu is there for him if he runs
 
We need another goal asap. Utd up their game they will hurt us. Both poor teams for me. Sad to see how far we have dropped. The sheik can’t be happy with this from where we were only 2 years ago.

Cmon city just beat these tossers!
 
Overall, some positive signs but the old issues still evident.

Still second to most challenges.

Ball over the top is still an issue.

Creative link up and possession at the normal level now. Not much control.

Midfield is a huge issue, thought Tiny was the answer but not atm. Actually looking forward to kova coming back.

The nervous ball retention is hard to watch.

Foden, Doku and Donnarumma have been very good. The rest a bit mixed. Even Rodri has been out of sorts.

The centre of our defence looks very slow with Khusanov pushed out to RB. Midfield looks bit lightweight and I'd be tempted to bring Gonzalez on for Reijnders, who is looking a bit off the pace. It would give us a bit more solidity in the centre. I'd also look at bringing Bobb or Savinho on for Bernardo. He still runs and runs but offers very little from wide right.

A couple of tweaks and we should win this.
 
Got to admit, feel a lot more confident with donnarumma, and so do the team, sure he ain't no ederson putting it anywhere he wants, but he is fine passing to fullbacks and rodri. Just his presence exudes confidence
 
0.34 vs 0.03 xG, perfectly set for that lot coming back to get something out of this game.
Apart from Foden and Doku to some extent, no danger in this squad.
Trying to find something positive from the first half, it is just tough.
 
Club captain or not, Nico G needs to come on for Bernardo, he’s getting bullied off the ball. Pep needs to have a word about diving in, especially Khusanov & his holding.
