Absolute Joke In Block 315 Bar | City sack employee for wearing United shirt

If it was a Blue serving at the Swamp in a City shirt we'd be calling him a lad.

Can't really see the problem really, and those saying it could have caused serious issues, of you're willing to punch a young lad for wearing a football shirt you've got bigger issues.

Enjoy the win far more important shit to worry about

Got to be honest, it's pretty funny. Let's not pretend otherwise, we would all be pissing ourselves if a blue did that at the swamp.

This may not be the case. He may just be incredibly thick but I get the impression he either took the job purely to do this or was on his way out one way or another and chose this as a way of leaving his job.

Deserves all the abuse thrown at him in the ground in the momeny and should be dismissed but its no deeper than that, fair play to the rag ****.

I think if he really cared about the job he would have worn something different.
Not many doing that job really care about it. They’re all mainly just students and it’s zero hours contracts usually. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was off to do something else then got a phone call to see if he was available for work.

He probably would have been told what to wear (and what not to) in his contract hence why he was removed from the position.

Agree that violence and wanting him sacked are way over the top. But at the end of the day, he's employed by a professional sports business.

Wearing merchandise of a rival company on the job is poor conduct. Yes, he only slings beer and probably doesn't care (most concessions staff at the ground in my experience are the dumbest people alive), but whoever his superior is needs to have a word, even if its just "are you fucking serious?".

Or they could shove him in the away bit.
He'll work for an agency or the concession holders so he won't have "lost his job".
My nephew worked for an agency that supplied bar and merchandise staff
It was a great opportunity to earn good money in that the person chose when they wanted to work
All done via an app on his phone, with all events listed and dates. He worked at the Etihad, both OT's and the Arena
He said to me once that at a united game it kicked off at the bar he was allocated to
I said "rags fighting amongst themselves now!"
Nope, two of his workmates

Listen, the guys clearly got issues anyway, he’s wearing a rag shirt for a start! That in itself is a shame for the bloke. His hair tho! Shouldn’t be anywhere near food or beverage with that wig. Contamination is highly likely. Sack him? Nah, stick him in the away end or litter pick.

It's not nice hearing that a young lad has lost his job, but what did he think would happen? Maybe he'll learn some common sense as a result.
