Good performance albeit it against 10 men, everyone decent.
Apparently he did…said he practices in training and instinctively knows where Erl will beWas torn between "patience, City" and wishing for something more incisive. Then Phil's chip - but I'm not sure Phil meant that chip to do what it did!
49,531.What was the crowd tonight? Looked a good turnout
Give him Masters address.Conte definitely going to have someone whacked.
He’s fucking brilliant int he. Calm as fuck with his feet. Yeh not as good a passer as Eddy but who is? Much more commanding and dominating than Eddy. Could be our best signing of the seasonI’m extremely worried about how shit Donnarumma is with his feet and his flapping at corners. We simply cannot play without Ederson. Can’t believe the club.
I hate to sound like a wise man but vs United is not a good test on how we perform. There will be ups and down this season but based on the last 2 games there is an energy and the makings of a decent team.
We may not be back but we are doing okay.
Yep, agree about Savinho ..... but there again, i never really rated him during his days at Gerona either ..... he seems to spend most of his minutes out on the pitch just trying to win penalties.Job well done and nothing much to add, red card changed the game a lot. Great and very important 3 points. Savinho is a bit of a worry for me, maybe should have sold him to Tottenham , adds absolutely nothing atm.
Got to disagree with that mate. I was 100% certain the breakthrough would come. We were wearing them out like Peps past teams. It was only a matter of time. We could have had 4 or 5 easily but understandably took our foot off the gas. People just need to be patient this season. And when everyone is back fit, what a team we will haveThat game was going nowhere for 56 minutes, mainly because of Napoli's rigid defensive shape ..... and then it happened
.
Excellent ball from Foden to Haaland , and the deadlock was suddenly broken ..... soon to be followed by a brilliant goal fro the elusive Doku .... shifting his body one way and then the other he must have taken four Napoli players out of the game, before sliding the ball through their keepers legs from an angle.
The win never looked likely on that 56 minute mark, but come the end of play we can look back on that game and say that we saw a really professional performance from City there, they found a way through, they made the three points happen
