Fantasy Premier League - 2025/26 | Official BlueMoon League + Cup

100 for me this week!
Good effort. Dont think I've ever broke 100pts.
Well done. I'm jealous. Looks like it was generally a high-ish scoring week. Average of 63 pts, compared to averages of 48, 51 and 54 in the three previous GWs (reading backwards). If I'd gone with Erling as captain, instead of Salah, and also BB'ed, I'd have finished on 99. At least I had green arrows this week, a nice change from the previous GW!

And yes, the words "auntie", "uncle" and "balls" do indeed spring to mind!
I'm pretty much the same. Had salad as cpt, didn't want to jinx the big man. Loads of points on my bench, should have bench boosted but it came from nowhere.

I wish I had bench boosted too. I have Caicedo, Guehi and Dunk on there who all picked up useful points.

I was considering a week (I have two free transfers) for next weekend. Maybe move Haaland out for one week; Arsenal won't be as accommodating as "TWGC" were yesterday. Perhaps bring in Wood (away at Burnley). Isak is an option but, listening to Slot, he may not give him the full 90 minutes. Gyokeres? Yeah, but he's playing City. Any pts would be tainted. Watkins (away at Sunderland)? He hasn't pulled up any trees so far this season. Villa haven't scored a PL goal so far this season. Evanilson (home to Newcastle, who aren't always great on the road). Pedro (at the theatre of the leaking roof). There's a few options. I may end up picking Wood, with Haaland back in next week.

I wouldn't waste two transfers Jim, save them. City's fixtures get good from GW6, arsenal's from GW7 and Chelsea's from GW8. That's where I'll be using my transfers in the upcoming week's.

I’ve just got rid of Reijnders and Mbuemo and put in Phil and Kudus.

Watch Pep doing something Peppy.

Yeah; I've decided to leave well alone. I was looking at getting Phil in (for Grealish, maybe). But as I wouldn't have enough funds, it'd mean burning at least one additional transfer (probably 2) and I don't want to be going into minus territory at this early stage of the season. I'd also like to keep hold of the two free transfers I have for now. Salah will remain as my captain (surprise surprise!).

Those of you ditching Reijnders are making me rethink me currently having him on my bench this weekend.

He's been pretty unlucky on some recent non-returns, but I suppose overall I shouldn't start him against the "best defense".

Nothing against bringing in Phil, but I'll be waiting a bit for some more PL data and consistent starts, but yesterday was a very nice match for him showing he very well could be back to being "essential" in the lineup.

I'm buying Reijnders next week, very surprised he's being sold and heading for a price drop.

Not sure he'll get to an actual drop, but then again City do play on Sunday so there is still time.

If you are bringing him in, there isn't any hurry to get him unless the other MID you are selling is due a price drop. ;-)

If he blanks vs. Arse, then I suppose he could drop after Sunday, but he's so cheap as a MID I figured he'll be part of the buying spree next week as Salah gets dropped for Haaland as is being foretold.

I suppose if he was kneejerked in after GW1, he's sure to be moved out as well, though I still like what I've seen on his overall chances.

Salah and Ekitike out for Haaland and Reijnders was always the plan for this week.

Ekitike and Reijnders are both predicted to drop in price tomorrow night/Sunday morning. I do think Reijnders will get a lot of transfers in after the deadline with the City fixtures so the trend might reverse hopefully.

Mateta for Gyokeres and Kudus for Palmer being the plan after that, though I currently have to find 0.2m for that so Sanchez down to a 4.5m keeper seems like the best way. I could do a boring 5.5m defensive mid like Anderson instead of Reijnders but Reijnders has a much higher ceiling imo. Of course injuries could derail the entire plan :)

Or I could move Eze, depending on form/minutes but I have easy routes to Palmer. That's why getting Semenyo for 7m helps, predicted to hit 7.6m tonight ;)
