President Trump

Fondly remembering US Muslim leaders et al arguing a vote for Trump would usher in peace for Gaza. That aged well.
Along with so many others.

You can , as a politician say wildly optimistic and inaccurate things, (£200m nhs…), but it takes a special type of voter to not only vote for bullshit, but vote for bullshit that won’t happen, but infact has a completely opposite negative effect on oneself - US Muslims, farmers, workers of all areas, blacks, Latin Americans, tourist industry… the only people who have benefited in the US from Trump is the richest 1 percent… like they needed anymore money.

make the truth fit my narrative

sure do all this then nobody believes your figures and see what that does economically

I think you'll find that it was substantially more than £200 million. Basics and all that...

Whilst I too would like to see that, fact is we just cannot take that route and have to keep him on side. We are too reliant on the US to upset the sex offender and have his petulance negatively impact us.

Keeping him on side whilst trying to maintain as much distance as possible is our best and frankly only option. The goal has to be weaning ourselves off of relying on the US but that cannot happen anytime soon. Trump will be long gone by the time we are ever in a position to be able to tell him to get fucked and not suffer for it.

Whatever anybodies opinions are on Starmer, I dont think it can be argued against that he has dealt with Trump very well.
I'm sure Pres T is not the first sex offender that Sir K S has had to both represent and oppose in his career as a barrister.
