Let's just hope that football is the winner in the Liverpool v Everton game. Regardless of the result let's just hope both teams play good football and it's the great spectacle that magnificent stadium deserves......

Everton’s record at Anfield is appalling. This is a fixture that doesn’t follow a ‘typical derby’ game where anything happens because form goes out of the window. It almost never ends up with an Everton win.

They’ve won just 9 of their last 80 trips to Anfield, and won none there this century in front of fans.

Plus, Moyes has never won a game at Anfield with any team he’s managed.

All-time, considering Everton were the bigger football club in that city up to the 1970s, they’ve only won 25 of 119 games at Anfield. Bizarre!
