One thing's for sure... Donnarumma will find out exactly how good he is today!

Arsenal will no doubt attempt to bombard us from all angles in this game .....

These days our defence usually opens up like a lady of the nights legs in games such as this !

Hope the lads fetch their winners medals along for these shit cunts to have a look at.

5-0 City
That’s the sort of ridiculous and unrealistic optimism we need !! Every single game I tip City to win regardless of who they’re playing or at home or away. Me being a fucking idiot helps of course.
Come on you blue boys !

The vultures are circling ready to pick the carcass of our club. I hope we go out there, win well and remind everybody just who we are.

I am hopeful of getting something but if we don’t it’s not the end of the world,I think we’ll see the best of this team around Christmas time or just after,as long as we don’t end up with a load of injuries again..

We can lose and still recover in the 32 games to come - obviously much better if we don't go 9 points behind.
Just need to concentrate on ourselves this season and not worry about the title or Liverpool.

There have been huge changes in playing staff, coaching staff, DoF, goalkeepers, loads of key players coming back from long injuries or serial injury records or are currently injured, loads of young and inexperienced players, we had next to no pre-season… and it’s all a lot to contend with in one go.

We were a distant third last season and I reckon should just focus on having a big improvement on our own 71 points total from last season and cement a CL place.
Do that, and we’ve done our job this season for me.

Anything else that comes on top of that is a bonus.

don't think Pep and his team will share your modest ambitions - with all our players fit we are the best team in the league no question.

I reckon you told the captain something like this on the high seas when the rogue wave was approaching. Still, admirable optimism.

In times of extreme weather, of which there were quite a few, including being hit by a freak wave at 3:30am and on emergency stations in the north Atlantic, I said a silent prayer to a higher captain. Thankfully for myself and the rest of the crew our captain had 36 years experience. That got us through the hurricane.
I'm actually not overly optimistic but I just sense the team have a point to.prove and I hope they do it.

If it's not a transaction then wtf is it?. We've changed half our squad in the last 6 month, you're absolutely batshit crazy if u think it clicks immediately this shit takes time. Again! we're 4/5 games in stop with the Leeds & Sunderland bollocks, it's a 38 game season those two will be 30pts plus behind us if not relegated.

When we lose today (I say this hoping i eat my words, obviously) it will be a bad start but then we have 5 very winnable fixtures to come before a home tie against LiVARpool, nothing is won or lost in September.

Pressure wise I'm talking today, all the pressure is on Arsenal & Arteta, City are 3/1 to win we've been written off.
When did I say we're not in a transition? I'm not disputing that at all, but I'm seeing the word banded about too much and used as an excuse for downright shit performances - we still have some of the best players in the world in their respective positions along with a generational manager, I'm just not having that there's no expectation to win games still.

Of course it will take time for the new players to bed in and for the team to reach their best level but the fact is we've only so far played one team that finished in the top half last season despite the poor start.

I agree with you to a degree most of the pressure is on them today being at home and appearing as more probable title challengers at this point but it's also a great opportunity for us to show we can further click into gear after the last two good results.

I found this statistic absolutely mindblowing. Only 17.4% of his passes go forward, for a guy who plays as an attacking midfielder or on the right wing that is abysmal!

That's by design, nothing wrong here. Why? Because a midfield including both Reijnders and Foden/Cherki is a bit lightweight defensively wise. To have Foden at 10 without serious defensive costs, we need to drop Reijnders or have a defensively minded midfielder on the right, one whose main role is to keep the ball rolling instead of creating or attacking. Many on here don't understand what Bernardo's role is and jump to conclusions.

3 points behind Arsenal.

If his role in the team is to cut off passing lanes, rat around the pitch and support the defence why don't we play the guy we paid 60 million for who's quicker, stronger, more aggressive and can carry the ball forward and pass it forward quickly. Gonzalez.
