One thing's for sure... Donnarumma will find out exactly how good he is today!

Arsenal will no doubt attempt to bombard us from all angles in this game .....

These days our defence usually opens up like a lady of the nights legs in games such as this !
They certainly found out how good he is in the CL last season...

Rodri won't be starting? Doubt it mate. He will be the first name on the team sheet. Without him we get banged.

He won't play against Huddersfield or Burnley at home next week, so he will likely get a 10 days rest up to the Monaco away game after today.
We'll see.

I found this statistic absolutely mindblowing. Only 17.4% of his passes go forward, for a guy who plays as an attacking midfielder or on the right wing that is abysmal!
Making him captain was a poor move IMO.
Not doubting his commitment since he arrived here. He's been up there with the best, but another one who's usual huge standards have dropped off sharpish.

I watched him live at the derby and nearly every time he received the ball it went back inside to another player. He tried to go on the outside of Dorgu a couple of times and got brushed aside like an academy player.

But who replaces him? Sav ain't exactly pushing him to nail down the wide position.

Maybe Cherki when he's fit?

We was actually in the game last season, started to dominate and deserved to equalise. It was only when we conceded the third we just collapsed (didn't help that Ortega decided he couldn't be arsed diving for any of them)

Bobb, Cherki, Savinho, Foden, Nunes. There are a number of possibilities on the right.

Can't believe that I check who the ref is before I even look at team news these days.
Twatwell hasn't improved my nerves if I'm honest

Last season we all saw what was coming when we went there, today I'm more optimistic, bit of a free hit still,we ain't winning the league, but this will definitely show if we're on the right track regarding spirit and playing as a team. Up the Blues.

Bobb ? .......he certainly shouldn't be our captain

Didn’t he come off on Thursday as he wasn’t feeling good? I’d be suprised to see him starting I must admit after Thursday.
I had a message from a friend today saying he was out. He didn't say whether rested or injured.

He's a close friend and a City fan but he's never sent me info before so no idea how reliable it is.

Tbf apart from the cup final which was more down to var than atwell he's generally been okay for us imo

It's an extremely low bar and this doesn't mean I think he's Pierluigi Collina or anything but I think Atwell and Oliver are the best of an awful bunch. At least they are fit enough to keep up with play.
