With the way we are playing which I don’t mind, 3 games in 7 days we are going to tire, I thinks subs are key for us and them

Enjoyed that half and a real different side to City that I’m liking. However we need to be better when we do get possession as we won’t keep this to nil if we don’t use the ball well when we do win it back.

First 30 minutes we did it brilliantly and that last 20 was just non stop pressure.

Khus great

Nico fantastic

Bernie on the wind up but on a booking

Haaland making Gabriel look like a child with the goal

And some nice shithousing dark arts that the Tarquins are crying over

Just need 45 minutes more of it

Almost the perfect 1st half. Worry about Bernardo getting a 2nd yellow after the silly 1st. Madueka probably their best player & O,Reilly has dealt with him almost perfectly & needs more protection from Doku, as it was telling that Bernardo was doubling up after we scored.

We’re doing exactly what they do when they come to our place. No urgency to score, hit on the counter if given the chance and defend for our lives. Working so far.

Don’t mistake possession for domination.
We are a lot more eager to attack than they usually are at the Etihad which says a lot about them and their coward manager

It has been already. That's where their extra 2 days ( not fixed, thanks PL and Uefa) will help them over the line imo. Pep needs to do some subs on 65 but who ffs?
As long as we remain ahead, Guardiola won’t make substitutions. However, if we do ship one, particularly if later in the game, then he needs to get them on, if only to break up the game’s rhythm.

Great first half but hard to see us winning this if we don’t have more possession in the second half. I never expected us to have a mere 32.5% of the ball under Pep.
Exactly, if this pressure persists, it's highly likely that they'll score .... and that will will probably lead to a quick 2nd goal.

We need to start passing properly from A to B, and get in the game upfield a bit more .... we can't be doing with all this pressure in the second half, it only takes a defection in our packed goal area and Arsenal will be right back in it.

I’m still worried at Reijdeers positional sense in the middle of the park, I know he assisted the goal but defensively he’s woeful
