I’m still worried at Reijdeers positional sense in the middle of the park, I know he assisted the goal but defensively he’s woeful

because he isn't a DM he is an attacking midfield, he can drop deep to support but not his natural role

I agree it isn’t a yellow card for Bernardo with the addition of VAR.
They should be able to tell the on pitch referee that there was no malice in the toss by Bernardo.

You can’t deny that we have seen double yellow cards for similar situations though, and if I was an Arsenal fan that is what I would be pissed about.

It would have been the softest second yellow. Bernardo shouldn't do it, but it's not worthy of a card.
