Fantasy Premier League - 2025/26 | Official BlueMoon League + Cup

Looks like a decent squad, that. Haven't noticed Senesi making too many headlines so far, though. Bench warmer, I'm assuming? Dubravka, Minteh and Palhinha the other three? It's tempting to sell Salah (there's a lot of money tied up in him). But if any player guarantees you points, he does. Even on a quiet week for him, he got me 10 pts as my captain. Ekitike would have been worth 16 pts with the armband, but hey ho. You can't win them all. I have 3 free transfers, but I'm fairly okay with my squad. Foden in for Grealish would be an option, only I don't have enough funds for a 1-1 straight swap. Which would mean weakening other areas to raise the necessary funds. Which I'm reluctant to do (as already stated, I'm loathe to sell Salah). I also think I'll soon be playing my BB. Cullen is the obvious weak link there, but he still scored 4 pts yesterday. If you got 16 pts from your bench, I wouldn't class that as too shabby. I suppose a 0-0 today would be ideal for me (clean sheets for Raya and Calafiori, and Haaland doing a load of defensive work, like he did last weekend).

I wouldn't complain if City win, though!
Senesi has 28 points in 4 games, despite playing Liverpool and spurs away. Hes only one of 2 players in the game to get Defcon points in every game this season.

Fair enough. As I said, he hadn't come to my attention up to your post! I still think, looking at that squad, that he's probably likely to end up on the bench. Unless in instead of Josko. The other three defenders would be my pick, if that was my squad (I have two of those three, as it happens!).

Not my squad was just adding the info on senesi - I'd personally be playing him though as hes effectively starting with 4 points most weeks.

I have Senesi, as pointed out he's a defcon beast. He's first on my bench this week though.

Sanchez has got a 1 game ban but can serve it in the cup, midweek. So I don't have to start Dubravka against City. Every cloud and all that.

Indeed, and I don't see how I bench him at this point.

He's starting over Gabriel for me this week, so he's been on someone's radar. ;-)

If you have him you'd be mad to bench him. He's currently the 3rd highest point scorer in the game and will go 2nd if bonus points stay the same.
Yeah. I have him and will keep him. Can't say I've ever watched him play but stats wise he's a monster.

I'm on 52 with I think bonus points to come. That looks to be a reasonable score based on results and the low average yesterday.

I'm 90% sure I will wildcard this evening. Will decide later. Squad looks like this right now.

Not a single clean sheet for me this week. In contrast to last week (5 of the eight in defence (including the keeper) and midfield got blanks to their name. That must be, what, 12-15 points lost this week. Haven't worked out the difference in the DEFCON this week yet.

Haaland triple captain against Burnley anyone? I think I will.
Worth considering. I'm over for the game, though, so I might jink it. You have been warned! Also, would Pep leave him on for the whole game if we're fairly comfortable after 70 minutes? Save him for the Monaco game the following wednesday?

You can only play one chip in any one GW, yeah?So you can't TC Haaland, AND play BB as well.

I don't expect he will play at Huddersfield, maybe on the bench and only used in an emergency god forbid. And Saturday 3.00pm until Wednesday night is a decent break. He's in such good form it's hard to think of a better opportunity. If he did get subbed early then he's probably done the business already.

Yes, just one chip at a time, unlike Luke Shaw.

You misunderstand. I'd be staggered if he was even on the bench in midweek. It was next weekend, I was thinking about. Yes; four days is a decent break (better than this last interval!). But say he left him on if we were 3 up going into the last 10-15 minutes (Feyenoord? Who are they?), and he got a serious injury? It'd be typical of our luck with injuries!

Cheers for clarifying the situation re playing multiple chips in the same week. I suspected as much anyway.
