I had a mishap with my bank card on Sunday. The machine ate it. I called my bank and they cancelled it. Issued a new one.
Tried to register it on line- no chance.
Phoned the ticket office number.
Listened to a take That advert (are we a football club?) then got told I was in a queue, then got told press 1 and we will call u back , then got told that was out of service, then emailed and still waiting.

ITS FUCKING HOPELESS.

Will wait till the club contact me now.
Two hours spent fucking about with this shit.

Season ticket for 50+ years

If I miss league cup, Fa cup, euro games - fuck it!

And season ticket will be available next year…

Log in to your ticketing account. Select Cup Schemes. Then add payment card.

Allowed me to ‘remove all’ but not add anything
They will ring tmz- I hope!
The frustration with the shite you get from phoning a football club is beyond belief..
Seems we are guests at a fucking Take that gig

I think it’s a waste of space. I’m over 65 so they will get more money if a 12 year old buys the seat.
Of course I will ring again tmz. And try again and hope we get away draws till they work it out.. but thanks for the steer Marvin.

I'm in a similar situation with my card expiring next week.

I've added my new payment card, but something doesn't quite seem right.

I got a Take That Advert followed by another message saying that this line wasn't selling Take That tickets.

Then a "call waiting time is around 1 hour 40 minutes" Absolute bollocks!

I'll probably drive down tomorrow.

I’ve always found it easier & successful to email the club. They usually reply within an hour or so.

Every passing season we get more and more professional, business-like, corporate and slick… but forever have phone lines like a League 2 outfit!

It’s like we have two Herbert’s in a store cupboard at the back of an office with one phone between them, taking turns while one is picking his nose and playing naughts+crosses with himself waiting until it’s his go in the phone, as our entire phone network to cover all members.

On hold for 1 hour in a queue has been going on for years now, a decade or more I bet… it’s not good enough. Many people haven’t got an hour in a day to be on the phone, people work, many get 30 minutes for dinner. And it’s not like the phone lines are open in the evening, they close at 5.15pm and many people don’t get home from work until after then.

I was waiting 55 mins for them to answer. They then said exactly that.
My issue was I pay for 4 people on cup schemes but my one of them the card needed updating i use the same card for all 4 tickets and the other 3 got purchased no hassle.
When I logging into my ticket account and selected cup schemes then add payment details. They wouldn't let me add payment card because am not the account holder.
I used a completely different bank details who had a different surname and they excepted that.
The phone ques are ridiculously long due to the failures of our ticket system.

Can you try a different browser? Google Chrome for example.
 
Currently on hold for 1 hour and 10 mins.

I have 2 seats that I want in my basket and every 19 mins I have to remove them and re add them so they don't get bought.

The club literally use the website we do for tickets, so if and when I get through, I will release the tickets and let them do it for me. Just trying to move seats, nothing complex. Was on a call the other day getting 2 tickets and 1 of them got sold whilst they were putting them through.

i've downloaded the burnely ticket in the citizen matchday wallet thing so it looks okay. but i have a feeling my citizen card might have expire or be about to. can't really tell from logging in.

also i need to renew my daughters for a game next month. really need to speak to them. why is it so hard.

ah, found it. i'm okay and managed to renew my daughters online. wasn't so hard.

I've just been down to the Etihad and amongst all the cranes and rubble, eventually located some kind of temporary Ticket Office, situated in what felt like a forgotten corridor at the back of the new City Store

Both of the staff had Northern Ireland accents and both were very helpful, albeit I'd done everything correctly and was worrying over nothing

There wasn't any room for a third person.
