Instead of asking Republicans why they voted for Trump in 2024, maybe you could ask some of the 6 million Americans (net) who voted Democrat in 2020 but didn't in 2024 why they voted as they did, or why they didn't vote at all. What were the issues going on in their heads? They are the cunts who handed Trump the election.

Is he sane? I'm not sure which answer is more scary.

History will remember this time well, and judge him to be the most unstable and US-damaging president of all time, both at home and on a global scale. His cronies will be pursued for the fruits of his misadventure. I just hope middle America wakes up and realises and the damage he can cause is limited as much as possible.

Any attempt by him to alter the rule on serving a third term should be seized upon, and my hope is that the opposition to such a move, and the yellow tape of legalities, would prevent this given it's just three years until he's out. Let's see if he enacts operation spoiled arsehole to leave the white house in flames when he goes, I guess that largely depends on how much Americans fight back against not just trump but his party and policies.

c) where specialty chemicals are made.

For c, it can often be very small batch things made by very few suppliers to the standard you need as a pharmaceutical input.
