A serious talk has to be had about how Forest v Sunderland is on tv and this isnt. fuck me sky how many people are watching forest and sunderland?
The more Saturday 3pm games we have, the better! Wish we played at this time (or 12.30pm) every week.

Plus, every club has to be on a certain number of times to trigger the Broadcasting Revenue. Can’t have City on tele every week and Sunderland or Forest on half a dozen times all season, because they wouldn’t be allowed the TV money.

Someone was grumbling in another thread recently because we were moved to a Sunday for a televised game against Bournemouth.

Doku against Walker could be a good battle but if Doku comes inside on his right then he will probably get some joy.

Whoever we play against walker I'm expecting them to have a good crack at him tbh

Can see a lot of people here starting Rico instead of Nunez but it has to be Nunzez starting for me - he needs minutes in his legs and he needs to prove that he's capable of playing 90 without dropping a clanger before potentially starting vs Monaco in Khusanov's absence. I don't fancy Rico at right back at the moment

Apart from that, I trust Pep will get it right or right enough as he seems to be getting it right of late, and I can't wait to see Foden, Haaland and Doku in action again. If they're gonna stick everyone behind the ball it might be best to start one of Savinho or Bobb instead of Bernardo, but they'll be great subs to come on as they can both pick a lock and you'd fancy them against tired legs

I haven't seen a lot of them but I'll expect eleven men behind the ball and go for the break, set pieces and turnovers as normal. Liverpool found them hard to break down so I expect we'll do the same.
I agree with you mate, the difference is, this team are a lot harder to break down than previous ones, I’ve watched em a few times this season and I think we will have similar problems to the dippers ..
The difference is, we wont get any help from the officials like the dippers did..

De Bruyne: 19 trophies

PL, 2018 2019 2021 2022 2023 2024
CL, 2023
FA Cup, 2019 2023
EFL Cup, 2016 2018 2019 2020 2021
Club World Cup, 2023
Community Shield, 2018 2019 2024
UEFA Super Cup, 2023

Walker won 18. De Bruyne was here in 2016 when we won the EFL Cup, before Walker’s time.
Some don’t count KDB winning the Super cup, as he wasn’t in the squad at the time, possible due to injury I can’t remember now.

It wouldn’t surprise me if TNT were one of those who don’t count it.

stones in for khush otherwise the team that played the rags

I thought he might pick Stones but Stones played the majority of not all the game on Wednesday and he hasn’t really go pace to defend the counter

That said, every option has a significant draw back so he’s as good a choice as anyone

I think he plays Rico today. Use him for the combinations on the right hand side. His best performances have come from that type of game.

Club finding out the damage their ticket policies have done. Now opening up ST to ST transfer.

This is why you dont sell your soul to tourists, they only show up to a club playing well in the big games.

Why would Donnaruma not play? This isn't fifa. The obsession with Trafford is weird.
There is no obsession with Trafford on my part, I am one of those who fought and believed in the arrival of the Italian when some saw no chance, and others did not want competition for Trafford while I found that it is a chance for him to train and learn alongside the best goalkeeper in the world

That said, Trafford isn't a classic number 2. He's a goalkeeper who had offers and the potential to play as a number 1 in the top half of the Premier League table. So if you want to keep him, you have to give him at least 20 games. Otherwise, at the end of the season, he'll leave, and he'd be right to leave. No one will blame him. It would be a huge failure for us not to have managed to manage a potential number 1 player for the next decade.

The Burnley home game (especially since it's his former club, where he started) is the kind of game he should be playing in the Premier League. There's Monaco in four days, then Brentford, which Donnarumma will logically play.

Our supporters Club gets an average of 2 tickets for the so called big games at Home.

The day will come when a tourist gets skelpt for cheering the other team whilst sitting in the City end.

Same line-up as vs rags and Napoli with exception of the ones not fully fit. I’d play Nunez at RB for this one.

We need to make Etihad a fortress again. Expect 3 points today and hopefully keep the run of games without defeat going.

The ‘Fan Zone’ by the side of the Co-Op is open again. Didn’t see any fanfare about it for this game. Didn’t go in as off to meet a mate at the pub. Is that Fan Zone going to be a regular thing for home games now?
The other benefit is that there’s a cheerful programme seller nearby, who offered a bag for the programme as it might rain later. Excellent service and handy to get one early if there’s a last minute dash to get through the gate.

Doku should be in paradise today against captain dirty dick my good friends at united I'd swap a title for a europa league with spurs
