Since the chalked off goal against Spurs and the David Cootes fiasco they seem to be getting some very favourable decisions.

Nice to see them on the receiving end of a last minute winner for a change. Their results have not been an accurate reflection on how they’ve played. If it weren’t for good fortune, they could easily be on around the same points as us.

It’s too soon to say but Wirtz doesn’t seem like a great fit for them so far.

I listened to the end of their game on 5 live on the way home from our match.

When VAR ruled the palace winner a goal the energy on the radio sounded like they were re-announcing the death of Diana.

Then they conveniently just cut to some coverage of women’s rugby.

They have had serious defensive problems since the start of the season. Van Dijk is 34, Konate in the last year of his contract, two new FBs... They don't have proper wingers as well (Salah is more of a forward, and he's 33...). Diaz was huge for them last season.

Foreign ownership has been a disaster for English football fans . Gone are the days when admission charges meant you could take your kids to the game for not a lot of money. My brother used to take me to Anfield and pay for me to go in the Boys Pen A shilling , 5 fkn pence I was looking at the Liverpool site the other day and noticed hospitality packages The prices range from about 550 quid to 700 quid (depending on which team were Liverpool opponents) So if you took 2 kids to a better game you got a drink a meal and an ex players talk for 2100 pound You can go on a fkn family holiday for that. Unbelievable
