President Trump

By giving Taiwan aid and bringing Japan and Korea on our side against them??

I think we all know this but he never insulted the Chinese.
The Biden administration posed an existential threat to the CCP/Chinese government. I don't see how he can provide military aid to Taiwan, rally S.Korea and Japan against China, without insulting the Chinese people.

I know some people will say, "You don't speak for all Chinese." But fuck, that's exactly the problem—people are just wishfully thinking that all Chinese despise CCP and their government, and the only reason they haven't risen up is because of a few cameras installed on the roads.

There is a subtle difference. The Biden administration posed a threat to the Chinese government's ambition to grow its border. They in no way threatened the Chinese government. That isn't an insult to the Chinese people; it's saying that China shouldn't be allowed to just take whatever land and resources they want. The same goes for Russia, but Trump was/is prepared to roll over for both of them for personal financial gain.

Oh trust me.. I know that if you try talking to a Chinese person with actual logic and western thinking.. you get the..

"You're not my father or my grand father! Why should I listen to you? I owe you nothing! I owe everything to them including my life!"

I have visited a lot of countries while I lived in Singapore and Hong Kong for 8 years.

I believe what the Biden administration did was to besiege China in various fields such as the economy, technology, diplomacy, and ideology, using tactics similar to those from the Cold War era and expecting the same outcome—China's collapse. I don't think Chinese people have any difficulty understanding this matter.

The danger of the Biden administration lies in their ability to frame the narrative you mentioned with such apparent legitimacy that ordinary Westerners fail to perceive its risks. For instance, while China has already resolved to confront the West over Taiwan if necessary, ordinary Westerners believe that merely escalating threats will make China back down. The underlying issue is that Western media and intellectual circles have constructed a narrative that completely erases the legitimacy of China’s strategic resolve. As a result, shaped by this narrative, ordinary Westerners cannot even fathom China’s determination, as they subconsciously assume that no one would commit so strongly to a cause deemed meaningless. Frankly, if future U.S. presidents continue to manage America’s relationship with China in the same manner as Biden did, a war will be inevitable.

Out of curiosity — what do you mean by “strategic resolve”? Can you turn that into definable actions or tactical specificity for me?

I would say they're about as open minded as westerners are which is not many.

Liberal minded folks are few and far between even in the LGBT community.

Rare when you get a free spirit.

Liberal mind...well, We have a belief in the engineering mindset. A machine requires something like a power source, filters, amplifiers, and feedback loops. If filtering out interference signals is necessary, then that is what we will do—we do not regard interference signals as having the same right to exist as the operational signals. The legitimacy of a machine lies in its ability to function, not in whether its structure aligns with your aesthetic preferences.

Yes, all Chinese love the communist party.

That's why the communist party doesn't have to imprison and kill people for merely disagreeing with it.

Deluded.

Chinese EXPANSIONISM needed to be kept in check…and the US didn’t even stop it, just stayed on top if it and called it out!

How would China feel if the U.S. dredged islands out of the open ocean, put 12,000 ft runways on them, deep water ports for carriers, and built barracks on them?

But, don’t believe me…

This month, the South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported that scientists from China’s Ocean University have developed a new excavation method that overcomes the limitations of soft coral sand for artificial island building.

SCMP notes that China’s three largest artificial islands, Meiji (Mischief Reef), Yongshu (Fiery Cross Reef) and Zhubi (Subi Reef) create a triangular defense position against US bases in the Philippines.

The report notes that China has transformed seven reefs in the Spratlys into artificial islands using a distinctive method that involves extracting coral from the reef’s core, pulverizing it and piling it up to create elevated artificial land to host various facilities.

SCMP says the Chinese science team, led by Chen Xuguang, proposed building large tunnels beneath each island to bolster China’s foothold in the region without provoking its neighbors.

You live in a strange world entirely constructed in your head. Your special insights into what westerners think are particularly weird and evidence free.

...
I don't know, maybe the answer is, "The U.S. military already has hundreds of overseas military bases, so what does it matter if there are one or two more?"
I don't know ,bro.
