Sheffield Wednesday on the brink… | Enter administration (p30)

Looks like we have another embargo due to non payments to HMRC, also Bannan was on Talksport this morning talking about the current state.

Chancer got a kicking from him.

Feels like end game is now approaching, obviously we don't know what that will entail but something to grasp to.

"5 embargoes you'll never sing that"

There will also be a 6th next week due to late payment of players (again!)

With a £7m loan on the stadium due next week (Chancer has rolled it over for the last few years), the chickens could be coming home to roost and we enter end game with him

The fucker.

How does this help the players perform?

An absolute **** of an owner. Prik Parry silence is deafening.
I agree m8, we are going to have to rip the club from his hands?

Unlucky @West Yorks Owl. So close to a great win on the road. Looking at the table, you're certainly not being cut adrift.
Feels like a defeat with how late m8, but I'd have snapped your hand for a point before the game. The squad despite not getting paid are really going above and beyond.
Fair play to him, I wonder if another person is in the suit on Saturday?

These are the players that should be rewarded in future for their loyalty to the club.
Clubs are very quick to add players to their 'Hall of Fame' when things are going well, these players should be added to the Wednesday HoF at the next available opportunity.

Spot on. I can’t speak for you but, if my wages were being paid late, I wouldn't be giving my best efforts at work.

Let's be honest if our wages were being paid/not paid like the Wednesday staff (not just players) we wouldn't be turning up for work.

And the powers that be sit back and do nothing yet again :( every embargo possible should be put on them to force that loon out of the door

For me he passed the Owners & Directors test when he bought the club, but in the last year alone with failure to pay wages, clubs, HMRC he's no longer fit & proper.

The EFL say they can't look to force him to sell, like they did with Dai Yongge at Reading as that was due to them discovering he had a criminal record.

Surely with all the past drama he has broken his promise to meet his obligations?

So the Club face another points deduction. What a kick in the teeth for both the players and fans . Yet no sanction against the owner...
That is one issue I have, I have no problem with the EFL punishing us with Embargoes as we've broken the leagues rules.

What does erk me is, we will get a points deduction (15 pts if you believe the rumours) but where is the punishment for the man who got us into this position?
