Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

Yes.
And you should too.
Anyone who is on one of these pro palestine marches is either a hamas supporter, someone who isn't fully or misinformed or just someone who is dangerously mentally unstable.
I have oft marched in support of Palestine.
I do so as a humanitarian.
I do so in support of human beings forced to live under a terrible regime of occupation.
I do not support Hamas, nor Netanyahu, but I do believe that people have the right to food, a home, water, and peace.
In the absence of western journalists being allowed into Gaza, I am inclined to believe Human Rights Watch, the International Association of Genocide Scholars, Doctors Without Borders, Amnesty International, and the Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention in their description of genocide in Gaza.
I will continue to march for humanity, and I do so surrounded by many Jewish people who march for the same reason.

Ok. So when you say eradicate, do you mean just kill every Palestinian then? As unless they do that they’re very unlikely to get rid of Hamas or people like them. Their horrific actions are likely to be leading to more people wanting to join. If you were about 15 for example and watched your little siblings get shot, your parents killed and your house blown up i think your thinking might start to become a little radical and anti Israel.

Surely you can see talking and peace with concessions made might just historically prove to be a better answer than what is currently taking place!

Er, do you understand what they’re protesting about don’t you?Have our government been supporting Russia or Ukraine since this started? As Cantona said 3/4 days after Russia invaded Ukraine they were band from all competitions. Well over 700 days into this and still Israel are allowed to compete in all competitions. Also not heard of many Ukrainian’s being starved to death.I even know someone who has been over to Kiev for a holiday about 3 times since the war started.

I don’t think Gretna could do much more for Ukraine than all the military support they’ve been getting!
I do understand what they're protesting about but the political powers involved on both sides do not want to change this situation. If you wanted peace then it would make no sense to only focus on one side which is all I ever hear.

Surely Hamas should release the hostages and remove themselves from the equation as per the demands set out in recent movements towards a peace process? Do you support that because the protesters don't seem to when they talk up infitadas and violence? Somebody was booed yesterday when they shouted free the hostages at a Palestine march.

Ukraine receives military aid because Ukraine was prior to this a democratic and stable state. Palestine is anything but that and Gaza is currently led by a terrorist organisation. The Israeli government are criminal nutjobs but so are Hamas and nothing is going to change whilst all sides are only supporting extremes and violence.

The west is starting to move away from its support of Israel and is now starting to put pressure on Israel. Nothing has changed on the other side, they still want to kill Israeli's and they still want Israel to just disappear.

At what point will you say Hamas has to go because that is only justifying Israel wanting to eliminate them and use that to act illegally to take land and the Palestinians are caught up in all of it.

Would you still go on one of those marches after yesterdays' event?

Israel are doing what they need to
to eradicate hamas.

There’s only one poster on these last two pages coming off as mentally unstable here.

There are a lot of Jewish people on these marches who oppose what Netanyahu is doing in Gaza, brave people who object to the killing of thousands of Palestinians.
Netanyahu is responsible for this rise in antisemitism by his invasion of Gaza peaceful negotiations with Hamas for the release of hostages was brought to an abrupt end when he bombed Doha

It is not possible to negotiate peacefully with hamas.
