Jaap Stam been sung for as long as I know.

You will never ever stop blues singing about them just like they do about us.

Because it's pathetic and he is nothing to do with us.
It's actually a back handed compliment, why would we do that?

He's harder than Dave Watson, Gerry Gow, or Andy Morrison etc would be more fitting, even though it wouldn't rhyme.

My mate goes mad when chants start about the Rags. He used to wind me up but now I see his point.

I enjoy the funny ones about the shitty owners, debt and ground but leave their team and players out of it

Perhaps i'm not up to speed here but can't you be prosecuted for singing it? It falls under public order offence if I recall.

Isn’t having a go at you love, but when I read people have been arrested for “tragedy chanting” it does make me shake my head. It’s all very Merseyside.

Not sure why a thread is needed on this subject

Those who want to sing it will and no one will tell them or make them do different

All this does is end up in silly rows either about free speech or with others taking a higher ground

I see it that the chant is way way less than it ever was and will continue to ebb away as people realize it wrong and not many are interested

Just my view
