I've always said that teams have what you might call collective muscle memory. So if they've had a good manager who then leaves, they'll continue to play well for a season even under a less able new manager. We saw it with Mancini/Pellegrini.

Second season under the new manager they start to drop off as the new guy instils his own system. Hopefully that's happening to them.

Are the wheels coming off the van Dijkhead Rolls Royce?

He’s declining slowly, Salah on the other hand is declining rapidly, he fell off second half last season but his first half masked it. Carries this form on he ain’t getting it back at his age. Only annoying thing is being the Muslim football poster boy there will always be a huge transfer fee from Saudi.

And you are worried about any of their spending prowess based on what lately lol??

They remind me of us last year. Started out like a horse on fire. Then shaky ever since.

Mojo gone.
I thought that as well. We also didn’t play well during that start but we got the results, there was a thought it was good to get the wins before we click. However, the opposite was true, other teams saw how to beat us and inevitably they did.

I agree, and would add that whilst we had a blinding start, the evidence was in the performances that a downturn was inevitably around the corner. Which is what occurred.

We should have lost or drawn to Brentford and Fulham at home, got a last minute winner to Wolves away and were lucky in the end to get a draw against a 10 man Arsenal.

It's the same with Liverpool. Not a chance were they going to get away with scoring 90th minute winners to get over the line.

Statistically everything pointed to what has just happened to them this week, and hopefully it continues.

Performances always dictate long term results.

How dare you!

During the Euros last summer, Twatterface compared Earnie to Pep and Cruyff.

I think you will find he is far from the Muslim poster boy, he is actually hated by large parts of the Muslim community for his persistent celebration of Christmas year after year

Van dijk looking very much off it to me, as is salah. Weve got to get Erling going at him when liverpool come to the etihad next month. He's creaking big time and the rest of their defenders look a bit rocked because of it

Mostly the idiots who live in the west, Muslims in Egypt and the rest of the Middle East couldn't care less about his Christmas celebrations

Fair, I did not know that. In that case let him eat up those huge wages whilst being mediocre until his monster contract expires. Joking aside I guarantee he ends up moving there for a substantial fee within the next 18 months….
