One of my favourite new things is that opposition fans have all read and believed the bullshit about Donnarumma being shit with his feet, so they do a "wooooooaaaah" every time he gets it, and then he just casually plays it past their players.
They read that on here, plenty of whoppers were insistent during the transfer window this was the case and providing graphs as proof why we shouldn't sign Donnarumma.

You can see why Neville was a failure as a manager. You'd get more insight from a Guinea pig.
He can't get his tiny fuckin brain around the fact that city and utd are 2 totally different teams.
He thinks because they were on the same points as us prior to kick off that we're even teams and Brentford should be smashing us like they did to his shit lot last week.
Total prick

Need to step it up first 15 mins of the Second half. Try to get the 2nd. Should be 2 or 3 up. We are much the better side but it only takes a mistake and they could capitalise.

We’ve been comfortable if not cutting. Too many players keep running into the same zones at the same time, which is understandable with so many not having played together consistently.

Worst Brentford side we’ve faced in recent years, so leaving with anything but the three points from this position would be hugely disappointing.

Turned off until it kicks off again. Have they put a stat up about how many times we've blown a half time lead in the last 18 months?

He was good
He wasn’t the outstanding player we know and love now though.
‘Plodri’ by some City fans remember.
I’m not having a go, I’m just pointing out that Nico could get better, though I don’t expect him to reach Rodri heights, but who will.

Really enjoyed that. We've played very well and all players have contributed. Bobb and Savinho have been very good in their wing play, making the right decision when to dribble and pass. Reijnders getting more up to speed too. Shame about Rodri. Hope it's nothing too serious. We should really be further ahead.

Keep it up 2nd half and we should win this.

Good first half from us, we controlled it very well. Pity we only have the one goal to show for it. Some of our shooting has been poor.
We need to maintain good concentration levels in the second half with only the one goal lead.

I want to see more balls put through for Erling to run onto. We have nobody who seems brave enough or is capable enough to do it, the balls are always being played back
It's so strange because we have an example of this working early on in the game. Give Haaland the bleedin' ball!

Savio is not suited to a possession-based team; he lacks acceleration to get away from the defender

The lack of risk taking in midfield is hurting us. Foden and reijnders need to do a lot more in the 2nd half
Hurting us? In what way? 9 shots to one (4-1 on target), over 73% possession, 0.8 to 0.06 XG (which I put no credibility in, by the way, no Brentford touch inside the City box, no save from Donna Summer, nearly three times as many passes as them. They haven't laid a glove on us.

*cue a Brentford goal in the second half!
