Nice football but lack of cutting edge. Thank god for Haaland because without him we are struggling to convert good chances.

Bobb doing well. Savinho needs to get in the game more.

Big concern over Rodri though.
Rodri over stretched for a ball, probably pulled his hamstring.
I wonder if he's not warming up enough because of his knee

Same exact position we were in against Brighton. We need to kill this game. Foden and Reijnders, please STOP SHOOTING and pass the ball to Haaland.

We’re playing well and could be a few up lmao, can’t do much when a team camps in like this but it’s far and away a huge improvement on last season
My issue is everytime we score a goal the team just starts to go into cruise control. As if we’re 4 goals up. I don’t like that. I want them to start the 2nd half going for the kill ! We know we’re not clinical but you’re leaving the door open for the opposition

Pummelled them for 45 mins, happy enough with that.
Obviously I would've liked a couple more goals but their keeper's made a decent save and they've packed their box with defenders which a few of our shots have hit, so no huge complaints.

I'd prefer Savinho to make a few runs down the line into the space, but that's not what his instructions are (presumably), and whisper it quietly, Nunes barely put a foot wrong that half.

Bossed it and made the opposition look poor while not having really got out of second gear. But that’s often where we come undone because we get used to playing in that gear, stay at that intensity and then the opposition surprise us an we concede.

Last week I said we didn’t pass the ball to Foden enough in the pocket, today we aren’t passing to the wingers enough when they’re wide open. The back four, Rodri-then-Nico and Reijnders are looking up and seeing Savinho and Bobb in space 1v1 with Brentford’s full backs but are then turning around and passing it back to someone in the centre circle.

As dominant as we’ve been, I don’t trust us with a one goal lead at the moment so need that second.

Got to give Savinho’s agent his due, he arranged the transfer and has now got a contract extension till 2031, the agent’s a stormer. He should have been despatched to Spurs months ago. I just don’t know what Pep sees in him, cause I don’t. And to think we possibly could’ve got Rodrigo from Real to play the left wing instead of him as well.

Hamstrings can be anything from a week to three months. Depends how bad it is. I didn’t see it how bad did it look?

They read that on here, plenty of whoppers were insistent during the transfer window this was the case and providing graphs as proof why we shouldn't sign Donnarumma.
Every real graph said Donnarumma is pretty much the best keeper in the world, they were just cherry picking.

We look really good today, but obviously we have struggled in the last year or so under similar circumstances, so you feel like we need that second goal.

I would put Doku in for Sav.

No way they will be this poor in the second half.
I think teams go into half time hardly believing they are still in the game after being totally outplayed and come out strong as they have confidence we can’t put our chances away and they only need one or two to score
